After posting 100 of Threads on different Websites (Reddit, Minecraft etc) asking thousands of YouTubers (small - medium - big / Viewership) + Creating own YouTube tutorials for the Pack and a Trailer, only 1500 Downloads feel like a punsh in the Face (thousands of hours went into this Project over the Years) Nobody of the YouTubers or Twitch Streamers replied and if they had replied they lied ( Download Numbers didnt increased when they said they tried it ) So what am i doing wrong? There are guys who get 50k+ downlaods with way smaller projects without even updating it so it gets bumped back to the top.
I have never published a modpack and I have zero background in marketing, so take this all with a grain of sugar.
The first thing I noticed is the pack is for MC 1.12, so when it released a year ago it was already 4 major versions behind and now it's 5. I can relate though! I've been working on a private 1.12 modpack myself for over 3 years and that's just how it goes when we spend that much time crafting and repairing a pack. I personally had to stop watching for new mod releases to add to my pack, or I'd never finish it.
Undoubtedly, you've learned a lot along the way. That should help save time on your next projects, but more on that at the End.
You mentioned this is a hobby project. Perhaps some of the better-performing packs you mentioned are done by people who have more time to release sooner, or money to literally advertise. Certainly some are just luckier, and all you can do about luck is increase your odds with more projects.
Please don't be discouraged by this, but I notice spelling and grammar issues in the page and promo video which will appear to some like a result of low effort, despite the evidence to the contrary (like over a year of updates!). I would recommend proofing or having a friend proof your material for a more polished presentation. My own thinking on this point has been, "If their description has errors, their mod/modpack probably does too."
I understand you've posted a lot for this pack so maybe you've already done this, but I'll suggest it anyway for good measure and for others in the same oak boat. For each mod you include in your pack, leave a comment on their project page with a link to your pack to let them know. Many even ask for this. Check their Discords to see if they offer a channel for modpack promotion.
My final observation is it looks like this is your first project. I suggest continuing with different pack themes you're interested in for wider playerbase reach, in addition to porting packs up to modern MC versions when possible. This is not just to avoid storing all your eggs in one chest. As you publish more, the followings you earn in each project will cross-pollinate and grow. You've built a foundation of experience for yourself here and you can leverage it!
I focused on the little things since I think some things, like capitalization, are your flair. I can't promise I got them all, but this already took a while :P

Hey guys!
I also think i made a pretty cool landing Page with the limited possibilitys of the Forum tool: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/plexo-95 <-
I take any marketing advice i can get because im at a point where its just frusttrating to waste that much time with zero outcome (downloads)
Its just a Hobby project so its fine i gues but the time that went in is in no relation to what downloads i got..
(Is there a other way than askin YouTubers and Gamers with a Camera? I dont like them :D and i dont want my project to depend on these guys)
