I tried through the IE install, then got the zip from sorceforge and no matter what happens, I get an error box come up "dfsvc.exe has encountered an error and needs to close" each and every time.

I rebooted the system and still getting this upon the initial install.

Any help would be great.

Can't really help you without you providing more information.

I apologize, I meant to post in here that I fixed it.

Seems that i had either an invalid download of the .net or a corrupted copy. I re-downloaded the .net and it is working fine now.
