Same thing today. It says that I'm using r46673 in both places (Mac Updater and files.wowace). The difference is that it was updated today (it has today's date) and also the file is named 46673.45, while yesterdays was 46673.44. I'm not sure "what" changed, tho.
Lots of wierdness going on with my updater atm. For a while I wasn't even able to open the application, it would just crash. So I redownloaded the application and installed it today, ran it the program and updraded to version 0.3.2, everything looked to be okay, but after it restarted the application after installing the newest version my settings were reset under preferences so I re did those and checked for addon updates but for some reason it's not seeing all of my addons, after the fubar pluggins in the list the updater shows me with nothing else installed. My preferences also do not save after quiting and reopening the application.
Yesterday it worked fine but seemed to have a crash after it updated my out-of-date stuff.
This morning I open it up and it shows me the addon list, but the version number are all replaced with creator information from the server.
Now, tonight, I light of the program and the list is completely empty. Checked my preferences and those are all good. Deleted and reinstalled the program, checked my preferences, and still nothing in the list!
Yeah, same problem here. I added it as a new issue on the Google Code site, hopefully it'll get fixed soon. I've got too many Ace addons to update them manually on a daily basis. :P
I just checked out jwowupdater (thread here: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=5917.0 ). A simple double-click of the .jar file and it runs on my Mac (OS X 10.4.10, PPC). Looks like it properly updated everything using default settings (when prompted for your WoW directory, just enter the folder containing WoW, not your addon folder).
Good to know there are options for Mac users in case it takes a while for MAU to get updated.
Yep, I've read all of the forums now. I've been through all the posts. I just can't update at all. I'm running on a Mac G5 1.8G w/ 2G DDR SDRam. My OS is OS X 10.3.9. I've downloaded MacAceUpdater 0.5. I can get the program running and "select Outdated Plugins", I will select "Install Selected Plugins" and get the "Installing Selected plugins" in the task frame at the bottom of the screen. However, it is not downloading or doing anything to update. Is there a Readme file I'm missing?
I also downloaded Jwowmacupdater or what ever it was called but i need to be able to use Java 5.0. This isn't possible to install on OS X 10.3.9. I'd have to buy the 10.4 versions or higher just to get this running. It looks like a more "Mac" friendly version. (meaning idiots like me can just point and click and it will run)
If I could get any insight, as to where to go or what files I need that would be great. I love your compilation and would hate to go back to Titan and CT but my PvP performance at 3-7 FPS is hindering my performance. Not to mention the fact all of the free ganking the competition gets when my toon is standing there waiting for my screen freeze ups to clear after my entry to a BG
First of all love MacAceUpdater..use it every day multiple times a day. Only thing I have always wished it could do that is doesn't do...but is no big deal would be to make the columns sortable. You know how you in most apps with columns you click on the very top and you can then sort it A to Z or lower number to higher number etc...

This is something I would absolutely love to see. The MacAceUpdater is an almost perfect tool, but sortable columns would make it the best thing ever. :)
i just upgraded to Leopard the other night. I went today to use the updater and it looked like it was working... then it crashed. Anyone else having similar problems with Leopard?
This app hasnt been updated in ages.. You're better off using one of the platform-independant updaters, like http://wuu.vagabonds.info]WUU (http://wuu.vagabonds.info) or JWU (http://code.google.com/p/jwowupdater/)
I personally use WUU, since I have non-ace addons, and it updates those just fine as well.
