Unable to connect to the remote server ---> System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it
I have run WAU with almost no problem, until about a week ago. Suddenly I started to get this error message
"An unexpected error has occurred. Please make sure you are connected to the internet and restart the application. Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."
I looked through the forums for some answer and couldn't find one, attempted to google the error message in hopes of fixing it that way, but I am unsure of what to do at this point.
Hi, I'm running vista and I get an "error during update". I think wowace is up atm but I am not sure. I tried to right click on wowace and run as an administrater but I did not have that option. I get that option from wow but it just brings up the normal log in page. So, what am I doing wrong?
I cleaned up my variables.. it said it was saving back up of them.. I logged on and all my lootlink info additional info is gone, its from startout again. I looked into program and tried to find a restore back up, but did not see one. How can I do this?
Latest version of WAU crashes in about 30 seconds. I'm NOT running 1.9.43.
It hasn't been modified in ages. The problem is likely with one of the ad's. Since noone has bothered to help debug the problem in the time that we have been seeing this, i will likely never be fixed - as I am no longer working on this project, and Kaelten is probably busy with other things.
I suggest getting an ad blocker. For instance Norton 360 comes with one. I am sure there are many others.
