I thought they are all synchronized automatically. I use CurseUpdater but there are a few mods that I find on WoWACE that has newer versions than those that are on Curse.com
The problem being that a LARGE number of developers seem to just leave their addons in beta perpetually so that they never get posted to Curse. Not sure if this is being done in defiance of Curse or if it is for some other purpose. Perhaps some evaluation of how many addons actually exhibit this would show that things aren't exactly working as intended and lots of folks are coming back to WoWAce to get their files since it is rare for Curse to have functional recent releases (and the install-type: beta function in the Curse client doesn't work for WoWAce addons it seems).
Are there any addon updaters that will grab betas off the WoWAce links since so many devs aren't marking their addons for release?
The wowace only versions are alpha versions. Even betas get pushed to Curse. If a version is not pushed to Curse, the author doesn't want the general public using it.
i'm still having the same problem described above. the ticket that was opened has some other author comments, so i believe this is more wide spread than people 'not tagging' properly.
if you review the ticket, you'll see these projects are tagged properly, and they are just not getting pushed to curse.
Examples are
SmartMount
oRA2

I reported this on the CurseForge Tickets page over a day ago and I haven't heard anything about a fix.

Tagged another release for my addon and it hasn't shown up on Curse.
I tag them with the "svn cp" command.
No, but the files in the file list are set as "Release" by the package unless it has "beta" or "alpha".
And other addons that are having their files pushed to Curse don't have "Release" in the filename.
... tag name ... not file name,
ie:
/project-name/tags/1.0-release

edit: looks like you figured that out :D ... looks like your project is messed... wait for an admin to fix it.
It's not just my project, a lot of other people have having the same issue.
So far I've notice two of my project won't push the files to Curse,
- Proculas
- ProculasFu
I'm not sure about the rest of my projects.
Update: They'll get to it on Monday. ckknight is aware of it.
Right now its affecting ALL addons, as far as I can tell...
