And it should also unpack addons which uses filelist.wau that contains @ correctly too.
Nice work: /cheer rolf
For a future release could you add !!!StandaloneLibraries support?
At the moment all libraries are getting deleted if you update without externals :)
Ok added the code and tested it a bit with StandaloneLibraries , as far as i can see it works now. But please test it and let me know if you find any errors.
I'm I the only one having trouble getting this to work? Whenever i start the program the main windows says "Checking what addons need updating..." and nothing else happens. All the buttons are blurred out so i cant click anything except Config.
Any tips i'm doing wrong? Looks like a really nice and clean program so i really want it to work :)

If nothing at all happens then it would probabely indicate that there is some connection problem to wowace.com
I would close the updater and try again after 5min wait, and see if that works.

I haven't got a problem using Wowaceupdater nor browsing this forum so i guess there is something else. Maybe a port or something needs to be unlocked in my router but i cant find any information on that. Or does java needs a port unlocked for the program to use?

Do you use a proxy for browsing the internet and other internet traffic? because if you do you need to set the proxy settings in JWowDownloader.
Ok, i have no idea what happened before, i opened it a couple of times and reloaded to, and i only saw about 20 addons on the list. Well ill rewrite the updater then :) Thank you

If you were looking at it earlier today, I was mucking around with the script that generates it.
Using dom/xpath instead of writing your own parser should make things much easier on you.

Just using the DocumentBuilder from javax.xml.parser, already done making the parser, so just need to implement the changes in the rest of the updater :)

No, the only thing interfering with my broadband modem is the router i use. Everything works except this :(
One thing i thought was that java didnt get through Windows firewall cause java was not in the list. Now i have tried to add javaw.exe and give it permission and it didnt work so i disabled the firewall but that didnt work either.
Ok, i tested it with Cartographer, so ill look into what is wrong with the others, but prob sometime tomorrow its getting late :)
*UPDATE*
Just took a quick look at the BigWigs filelist.wau
What is the @ supposed to mean? its not present in the cartographer filelist.wau?
*UPDATE^2*
Found this on the wiki page, seems it means to prefix with the addonname_
/Rolf
Ill do that in the next update scheduled for tomorrow.

But that file dosent include all the addons? So thats not really usable to my update engine.
I need an xml file with all avaliable ace2 addons, and their newest version number.
