Only an english version..its boring to read english sentences everyday lol
and a window with downloading speed of the new addon releases would be fine.
Roemer please for consistancy sake, can you limit this or the general pack to release versions of addons only? or have a not-easy-to-get-to-beta option, but primarily uses release versions.
Whats the reason behind putting the mappings.xml on c:\?
That it's an alpha as someone mentioned before ;) Is fixed in my dev-Version.
@cM2003: Thanks for the Screenshot, will add them as soon as possible.
@billy20: Localizing may be implemented but not in alpha-stage
@OrionShock: I sent you a PM:
Why not host the XML "database" file on a website and have users pull from there? That way you don't need to release a new version for everyone to have the supported addons.

That's what I was thinking, too and already prepared in my dev Version.
- Supports Curse/WowAce Login
- Filtering for Addons
- Gets the Mappings from a Mappings File from the Web (you can Download it and set the Path in the Settings to your local file)
- Added many Mappings
- Use own config file (in the App Folder)
- Fixed some crashes.
Just installed this thing, so far looking nice and all
But could you consider adding *Update all addons if (and only if) the versions are different, would save some bandwidth if you dont have to install same addons again ^^
Also, would introducing shift/ctrl clicks to choice which addons to update be possible?
So far looking nice, maybe bit crude but considering the state of it, no biggie ;)
EDIT:
What about adding dates for *last updated* if its possible?
Getting "page not found" error when trying to download the latest version.
Go and check the Settings for the "Mapping File". What is there?
@Frnit: I'm a developer, not a graphic designer ;) But if you have ideas to make it "nicer" just tell me.
And Version checking is something I'm working on right now (and selecting from which site you want to update). I'll also implement the "Last updated" Date soon.

EDIT: something is odd. For example, I have ACP, iU says my version is 2.4.3 and it says there's 3.0.0 online. I tell it to upgrade, but the local version is still showing as 2.4.3. I didn't test ingame yet cause my server is offline due restart.
Btw, I used manual update.
EDIT2: just checked, it says ACP is 3.0.0 ingame, but iU still says it's 2.4.3.

Sorry, I just mean't, It's quite different looking than I got used with WAU, bit like the look of some win 3.1. programs, not a bad thing or anything and obviously not gonna stop me from using this wonderful piece of code <3
@gi2k15:
I take the Version Information from either a ReadMe File or the Toc File. So if the Author or a Mod doesn't update them, it will show the wrong version.
@UFl2k: I need some more Information about the crashes you have (error Message, Screenshot, What you did etc.).
Also double check your curse/wowace Credentials! I don't detect (by now) if they are correct or not. If they aren't you just see the "Download Link incorrect" in the Log.
@Frnit: You know, I first need something running with as much displayed Information as possible. I will optimice, beautify and maybe reduce the Interface a bit in future versions.

I'm working on something similar and it's how I'm doing it.
CourseForge and WoWace now needs someone to be logged in to download the Files.
I implemented the login Mechanism into my Updater!!! So my Updater is still able to download from CurseForge and WoWAce ;)
All you need is an Account there and put your login/password into the Updater.
I will release a new Alpha within this week with this Mechanism and a "Mapping" File on the Web so you immediately get new Mappings.
Still quite new to Ubuntu, how would i use Mono to try this app? Thats if u can.

Most important Changes:
- Supports Curse/WowAce Login
- Filtering for Addons
- Gets the Mappings from a Mappings File from the Web (you can Download it and set the Path in the Settings to your local file)
- Added many Mappings
- Use own config file (in the App Folder)
- Fixed some crashes.
Feel free to test it. Here's the Link:

Edit: I still recommend using the right mouse Button to update individual Addons, not using the "Update All" Function!

Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. Getting the error when I try to download the program from here: http://www.flauschig.ch/transfer/iUpdate_Alpha_1.zip
In fact, I'm gettting a "Network Timeout" error.
Try this Link then:
http://www.red-demon.com/waddu/download/iUpdate_Alpha_1.zip
and set your "Mapping File" Setting to:
http://www.red-demon.com/waddu/mapping/mappings.xml
or download it and set it to your downloaded File.

Checking for Updates works for all Sites/Addons.
Updating from WoWAce results in "Download link for <Addon> incorrect".
Updating from Curse/Wowinterface results in iU crashing.
Curse/WoWAce Credentials are set.
