SCT - adds incoming damage, heals, and events (dodge, parry, windfury, etc...) as scrolling text above you character model, much like what already happens above your target. For more info see here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=3965
SCTD - adds your outgoing damage to SCT. It provides a way for you to see your damage in a static location. This can be useful against large mobs like those in MC, Bosses, etc... For more info see here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4913
SCT can be installed alone. SCTD must have SCT to be installed.
Also as a side thought, having such a hugly popular mod using Ace2 might alert more people to the fact that Ace exsits, might be the take off point for Ace2.
One more question SCTD = ???
No problems on loading in.
Menu looks fine
Spam clicking a million buttons didn't break anything
FPS Independant mode sounds good on paper, will have to test it out in a raid situation, hopefully doing a green dragon in a few mins so I'll report back if that goes ahead.
Loving the 3 radio button system for the 3 different output options
Mem usage wasn't a noticible increase over waht it was without it installed.
Request: Box to enter values for locations for x/y axis scroll bars sometimes miss that number you really, really, really want to set something too.
Just took a peak at v5.0. Very nice indeed! A quick question re. the rainbow text animation. You can set it to flow to the left or the right in SCT but in SCTD you don't get that option? So if I want SCT to spray right and SCTD to spray left its impossible (I think).
I've updated the original post to include descriptions for those new to them =)
Gorfob, I agree on the sliders and its on my list of things to make better. Was just trying to get this out the door. I'll either be provding text boxes or a way to drag the frames around.
Tedeum, that's in over sight on my part. I'll add that option to SCTD. You could do that with vertical animation in the meantime though (maybe scrolling up on one side, scrolling down on the other).
Rasapian, you can do that in SCT. Under spell options turn on the "Show all Power Gains" option.
Roartindon, se7en, grab latest off the SVN and the print issue is fixed.
Moonsorrow, thanks for those I'll get them fixed tonight. Also, if you have any new/better translations for it feel free to send them my way =)
SCT could use some option to generate test events, like a couple of buff and debuff gains, some damage and healing - maybe make it a bit random even. Would help with configuring all those options :).
I love being able to see whom I heal, but when I use vampiric embrace, it is simply too much. Is it possible to squelch SCT messages that is a result of vampiric embrace?
Anyway, very happy to see you put stuff on the SVN, greyhoof.
Can we get an easier way to zero the x and y postion of text? Currently it's impossible to set it back to 0 (closest you can get is 10 or -10)
Here's a suggestion:

what are your recommendations on using SCT 5 beta? since some of the features only work in 1.12, should I wait till it's out to use SCT 5? If I use the SCT 5 will I see better framerate and less increasing rate over the older SCT?
I love to help authors beta test their mods, but I was just wondering how close to being "there" you felt this beta was?
What are they?

Cliff notes:

Once again nice work.

Looks great so far
Two errors with french client:

sctd\localization.fr.lua:48: attempt to index global `SCT_FONTS' (a nil value)
Thank you, quick work to move to Ace2 ^^
