I love nQuestlog and have been using it for some time now. One thing I've noticed and maybe I'm just blind. There used to be a configuration option in the menu for telling the minion which way to collapse / expand. Either up or down. I keep my minion at the bottom of my screen and now when I change zones the default expands the minion downwards and I have to unlock it and move it.
Is this option still available? Or was it removed? Thanks in advance and sorry if I've missed it. I did try searching, but came up with no results. I'm getting old, what can I say. :)
It's still there. It's a bit non-intuitive though - what you have to do is anchor the minion to the corner of the screen you put it in. For example, select the "bottom left" anchor if you have the minion in the lower left corner of the screen and want it to grow up and to the right. I forget what the option is actually called, you'll have to look through the menus.
had an idea, not sure if you have it planned or implemented in the 2.0 version quag. i would love to see the minion have a max height option and allow mousewheel scrolling of the window. maybe a toggable scroll bar too. similar functionality to the comments pane is what i'm thinking.
I just wanted to let you all know that I haven't had much of any time to work on nQuestLog the past few months due to work and other things. Version 2.0 is far from being done, and it will get done eventually, but I've only worked on it for two days since January 7 of this year. Once things wind down on a bunch of projects at work, I should be able to get back into it and finish version 2.0, but I have no idea when that will be. If anything breaks in the meantime, I'll certainly try to allocate some time and fix it, but please don't expect any new features for a while. Thanks.
Dunno if this has come up before...
I set nql to show number of completed quests and number of quests I have on fubar. That does not seem to work, sometimes. Shows me some weird number for the number of completed quests. Like a "1" if I absolutely do not see any quest I could turn in, or a "0" after I just finished all my dailies and am ready to turn them in at the questgiver.
Don't really care about it, I just switched the display of completed quests off, but I thought someone might care. ^^
Yes, played a bit with it. Tooltip is good. And whenever I change something about the text displayed on Fubar, it gets updated, to. Like, when I add the number of hidden quests, then the number of completed quests gets updated as well.
Anyone else getting errors when completing Quest objectives in 2.4?
Okay, found the error I'm having. If you output notifications to SCT (which has been updated for 2.4), then you get the following error on notifications:
Sink-1.0.lua:258: Attempt to call method 'IsActive' (a nil value)
You get the same error when selecting the "Default" option for notifications as well.
Ok, the LightHeaded integration should once again be working properly, based on my testing. As for the SinkLib error, that looks like a SinkLib problem that will have to be corrected in that library. Let me know if you find any other errors! Thanks.
/Interface/AddOns/nQuestLog/nQuestLogEvents.lua:383: attempt to call method 'QuestLogTitleButton_OnClick' (a nil value)
Can you fix that please?

Fixed. Sorry for the delay, but I couldn't get to it yesterday. For all of those not using the nQuestLog DetailsFrame module and using LightHeaded, the LightHeaded frame should now update properly (and no error) when clicking on a quest in the nQuestLog minion.

please fix so that the combo works once more!!
(also note lightheaded had been upgraded on 3/25 on 2.4 release)
Thanks for the heads-up. I just updated WoW and I'll go grab the new Lightheaded and check it out. Should have a fix posted soon.
Thanks, you rock my socks off :^)

Sure, I'll take a look at it later today after work. Thanks for the report.
