Is anyone maintaining this addon or is it dead?
Hope someone can fix it, Seems to only happen when icecrown dailies are involved.
Sorry but Im way too lazy to read through all 97 pages ;) Im just wondering if there are a Nquest version being developed that supports the Wowhead comments on each quest?

I believe nquestlog works with Lightheaded, which supplies the Wowhead comments.
Any chance this oldie but goodie can be updated for patch 3.3? If not, is there a good substitute that has cool features like Wowhead integration and sound notifications like nQuestLog has?
I keep getting the following error since 3.3:

Thanks for the suggestion about tomQuest2, I just took a look at it and it'll probably be just what I need. If I need to I think I can hack the sounds I want into it.

I'm already using LightHeaded, it's awesome.
you can change sounds directly in tomQuest2 options. You just need to have your sound registered with LibSharedMedia
I only seem to get errors with nQuestLog on quests without objectives, such as "go in here and then talk to me". And it seems to break anything else in the same Zone header until its removed.
Unfortunetly, TomQuest2 seems to be the best alternative for me as well.
:(
I do hope to see nQuestLog updated someday, as I find it to be the most astheticly pleasing addon for its purposes.
And I love how Lightheaded is displayed with it, and seeing it any other way gives me a headache.
I've been using Carbonite, which is primarily a map addon, but also includes a bunch of other stuff - including quest tracking and functionality similar to Gatherer.
Thought I'd just foward the quickfix myrathi2 posted in the nQuestLog project comments here.

Ok. Quick-fix that seems to work across a couple of similar quests (on different alts) is a modification to only Quixote, treating a 'log' leaderboard entry just like an 'event' one: it has a 'textual requirement' and is either completed or not.
This is, as far as I can tell, identical to how Blizzard's own code seems to treat it, as they simply append " (Complete)" to the text in the default quest description panel if the finished variable equates to true.
The hack works fine for me, anyway, so I hope it fixes the issue for others, also.
Let me know if there are any problems (other than having multiple addons that embed a Quixote-1.0 lib :P)...
Try using Fyrye's build then edit in Myrath's suggested quick fix.
You shouldn't have any problems then.
If your still having problems, please read the comments at the files page here on wowace. You'll end up using the above link, edit in another change or two in the .lua files, and THEN myrath's quickfix and then you'll be set.
I just can't remember if Fyrye's build included all of the fixes he posted or not.

Take a look at your questlog and check if there's "No Mercy!" (an Icecrown daily quest) in it.
If so, abandon the quest, and your problems might be gone.
EDIT:
I abandoned Make Them Pay http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=13234 and my minoin poped back up fully working again.
Anychance of getting these bugs sorted, i can edit my copy if someone tells me what to change
confirmed, nquestlog works well with lightheaded, been using it for weeks now

I can edit it myself if anyone knows what to fix.

Yep, I just meant if the sounds weren't the ones I liked from nQuestLog, but they're already in tomQuest2. Looks like I'm all set! :)
