I'm not sure but it seems plausible that the Kill Command damage is attributed to the pet, so you'd have unmerge and check the pet's details to see it as a line item.

Yeah will check that and the other issue and get back to you tonight, at work at the moment :(
I wouldn't be surprised if there are still bugs in the way blizz reports absorbs. If the relevant aura events don't appear it will not be possible to track things correctly.
Here is the combat log from a single fight with a Pustulent Horror, lvl 82 elite hanging around on the Ironwall Damn in Icecrown.
Melee Breakdown
Damage Taken: 1723
Damage Absorbed: 6243
Hit: 2 (20%)
Dodge: 1 (10%)
(Yes, a total of 30%... I'm assuming the other 70% of incoming attacks are the absorbs)
Thanks. I see what the problem is. I'll look into a fix.
On a side-note, I'm actually unhappy that Blizz implemented savage defense as an absorb, when clearly from the tooltip it's a mitigating effect. That it's not being tracked is to me a cosmetic issue at best because bears won't be competing with healers for shiney absorb stats any time soon. Another reason why this may have been much better placed as a straight mitigation effect, but alas.
While I agree that Savage Defense seems to be more of a dressed up block mechanic than anything else, I'm hearing of level 85 bears on Beta gaining Savage Defense procs capable of absorbing 30,000 damage. With the relatively high proc rate on this ability, I could see bears giving healers a serious run for their money.
It is unforunate however that if a bleed ticks for 1000 damage, the entire bubble is consumed in one go...
EDIT: Last time I ran a heroic 5man, of the 1.2 million damage I did not avoid, I absorbed 300k of it via SD and healed 300k of it via LotP. The healer in the group ended up only accounting for half of my healing taken.
Elsia, you want me to give you anything to help with the Power Word: Barrier spell? I checked my combat log and it is in fact using the same SpellID you added in recount.
Yes thanks. Basically it turns out that a few absorb effects are not trackable by the new SPELL_AURA_* parameter addition because they don't use it (for spell mechanism reasons mostly).
I'll work on adding the heuristic mechanism back in. This means that a certain amount of uncertainty/guesswork will remain when certain spells are used.
This change will take a little, because I will have to split abilities that are of this type from those that can be tracked accurately.
My husband and I are using the same version of recount (1131) and in our Heroic strat run just now, my lock's damage was UNDERreported by over 2/3 on MY meter, whereas his recorded my lock's proper damage. Any ideas why?
Did extensive testing into Savage Defense. It is not an absorb ability and I will remove it from recount at the next opportunity. The physical damage reduction is directly taking as a percentage of incoming and not reported at all as absorb in any way.
Also I did testing on PW: Barrier. Unfortunately this will be tricky to track, but I'll look into ways of possibly doing it. The complications are (a) it doesn't show shield amounts in Aura updates and (b) it is attributed to a guardian by the name of the shield and not the caster.
This make this even harder to track than standard guessed absorbs, and coming up with a sensibly clean solution will take some time.
I have a weird bug, or some option selected and I don't know which it is...
Whenever I change a zone, enter an instance, go through a portal, or even log in, the recount window opens... and this gets very annoying. If i'm flying in northrend from Dalaran, heading to wyrmrest temple, it'll open several times:
When I enter crystalsong forest. When I enter Dragonblight. When I enter an instance inside the temple.
If it's already open, it won't re-open a new window, but if I close it, it'll reappear without my asking for it.
Did I activate some option that does this, or is this a bug? :/
It's already set to hide when not collecting, and changing some filter settings is not doing anything... no data is actually being recorded when it appears, it just appears for no reason at all ;_;
@coopjmoe: The latest alpha should contain the ID. If not, the next time I commit changes will.
Yeah will check that and the other issue and get back to you tonight, at work at the moment :(
This only seems to work on partial absorbs, When I added it into the addon, it didn't count when the spell is fully absorbed.
