Love this so far and I'm hoping it gets lots of cool features added. I'd love to scale it really narrow and still have the title readable (i.e. no overlapping buttons), skin it, have a Fubar plugin for it, keybindings, the works. I've already replaced Recap with it as the damage output data seems solid. Looking forward to when the Threat portion is stable enough to replace KTM too. Excellent job! :)
Features:
Please add my vote to those who will appreciate an option to merge pet data, the predictable/low memory usage, and the fu-bar plugin (e.g showing a simple dps/hps/tps display?).
I'd also welcome an optional synchronization feature with other raiders'/users' data, to minimize data loss due to LoS interruptions.
Comparison/Feedback:
I used the tool last night to assess healer performance in TK/The Eye (which skills did they/I use, who did they/I heal, who took the most damage from orbs), and it was tremendously helpful. For me, I'm switching from Damagemeters where the most valued feature is the 'parse all events' option which allows me to see a breakdown of all events by merely moving my mouse over a listed player. SWstats I keep trying and trashing because it's simply too convoluted a process to retrieve the skill breakdown for a quick comparison between raiders. Recount has the making of my meter tool of choice.
Regarding the disappearing mage:
I noticed last night that, as players left the raid group, they kept disappearing from the Recount list too. Only after changing the settings to 'show' ungrouped players did I get their Recount data back into the window. Looks like a minor bug?

It's not a bug, they aren't grouped with you anymore.
Are there any plans to add a DPS list to the set of main windows? I realize I can see the DPS using the graphs, but I would like a nice, easy-to-read, ranked list of DPS. Possibly even two different DPS lists. One based on the individual's combat time (like Violation) and one based on the group's combat time (like DamageMeters).

Feature or bug - that doesn't make it less inconvenient for the purpose of post-combat data review when people disappear from the list while you analyze it. I've used Recount from early versions and that wasn't the case until very recently. Before, the data of all your group members was still visible even after the group disbanded, which I'd prefer given a choice (over having to go into settings after every instance and switch the 'show' option on manually for 'ungrouped' folks). Thus I concluded it was possibly a bug. :)

Heh, yeah it was actually a bug before that was causing issues with people not appearing in the list who were in your group and causing other data issues. I need to track who is in your group by fight that way if you check a fight it shows them etc but having them drop off the overall list still.

Memory usage should be a fair bit better since yesterday with some new functionality for "optimizing" the data thats being stored. Pet merging has already been added. And I should take some time to learn what I need to do for Fubar support.
Recount behaves a bit strange on my PC; I'm still having 25-30 FPS with the addon enabled, no problems with that, but the game 'lags' for like 0,1 sec in every one second. When I'm solo, it only stops for very short times, hardly noticeable, but it's still there; but when I joined into a 25man raidgroup yesterday, the lag moments became a bit longer, like 0,2 seconds.
Is there a suggestion how could I solve this? Tried to update all my things through the updater, but the game is still jerky.
btw.. adding sw_stats and fixlogstrings to the optionaldeps will make sure it's loaded before recount and maybe it's not really the best way to fix it, but so noone will blame recount for beeing incorrect .)
This looks quite amazing.
I'm just wondering.. can syncing be done using a common backend like Threat-1.0? Or is that out of question because of the level of detail needed in the data?

Didn't CKK include fix log strings in parser 3.0? If so, why should we need to run SWS as well?
i installed this addon today cause i think it's amazing (if ill ever get it to work).
There are at least a couple of problems i cannot solve (im not an ACE wizard i know...):
1) if i try to install it alone (with alone, i mean this is the only addon loaded) i cannot get it to work cause it keeps complaining abount missing libs (in order Ace2, ParseLib, and another one i dont remember), i tried installing them one by one (even if it should use the ones embedded in the archive) but when i get to ParseLib it keeps telling me ParseLib 2.1 it's needed
2) if i load every other addon i have the errors above are gone, but i have new ones:
' Interface\Addons\Recount\GUI_Main.lua:24: attempt to call method 'TooltipFunc' (a nil value) '
every time i move my mouse on the GUI.
One of the greatest addon since a while =) Really looking forward future releases and updates. Here is some feedback/suggestions/bugs I have after 1 day of use. I'm not too familiar with what you can and can't do with addons so some of what I suggest is probably really hard/impossible/long to make so I don't really expect all that but I can dream =).
-Syncing (with another user using recount) doesn't seem implemented at all, not too sure if it's supposed to be yet
-Some sort of Timeline have that would have each in-combat event until out of combat. With that an option to select multiple elements of the timeline to show their combined data
-An option or even just put by default a blocking to creating multiple times the same real-time graphic (which consumes lots of memory)
-Add coloring to the details window for each event (green for poison, dark yellow for disease, green for heal, red for dmg, etc.)
-Make the addon modular like Pitbull, Bigwigs, etc so people can pick parts they want and parts they don't so they can go lightweight =)
-The death meter detail window is one of my favorite tools so far. Would it be possible to add in the report function the HP shown in parenthesis in the window. Right now it shows for me, but when I report it doesn't show the target's HP. Also could it be possible to add heals shown in there and an option to filter every entry that has a value smaller than X and also filter out only incoming damage and heals. For example filter out all incoming hits below 200 and all hits the target has done. Another way of doing this would be to allow to manually filter out the events not wanted in the report. Anyways, that leads me to another suggestion but that would probably be complex to add: an HP vs time graphic for the death meter with mouse over ability over each points of the graphic like this:
HP
.--- ---
.
. --- ---
. ---
. ---
. ---
.................................. Time
Mousing over would show the Heal or Damage event with time.
-Some appearance options (fontsize, title bar color, size, etc.)
Anyways, keep up the good work, this will be a great addon really well-known addon soon for sure and a great replacement for SWS.
Updating from r41655 to r41716 (or newer) revision seems to break Recount in my case. First error I get is 'Interface\AddOns\Recount\Recount.lua: 992: Cannot find a library instance of Graph-1.0.' after which I start geting same errors mentioned earlier in this thread. Later revisions seem to install libraries correctly, but for reason or another Recount can't see them anymore.
What I can see is test and/or example data added to Recount between those revisions. I don't know is this is intended, or does Test1 etc. appear due to the errors or should it show on working Recount as example. r41655 and older still keep working as before for me.
