So like, I just reinstalled wow today, after taking a longer break, and somehow I can't get Bartender4 to work, even when I got a lua from my friend, on whoms char it works just fine, when I login, it just places all my buttons in the center of the screen.
It shows up on my addon list, but not ingame in niagara or rock.

Thats working as intended ;) Open the options screen ( type /bt in chat ), and toggle the "Lock" option, then move the bars to where you want them, hide bars you don't need, and so on! :)

In BT3 you could hide bars, and then have them show on mouseover, is that gonee?
Right now BT4 does not add new functionality, but it will over time. But if you're happy with BT3 right now, you don't have to switch. I'm just hoping for some people to do the switch, and report possible bugs and provide suggestions for improvement. :)

Regardless of the iteration, Bartender is one hell of a great AddOn - I've never had any problems with it, and it always seems to do exactly what I want it to; I use it for all 9 of my characters (yep, one of each class :P). I sincerely thank you for all the time and work you've put into it!
About keyBound.. I can't seem to bind keys with multiple modifiers. For example with BT3 I had Bar 6 Button 3 bound as CTRL-SHIFT-F, which was the keystroke assignment I gave to mouse button 6 (a really roundabout way to do clickcasting, I know). With BT4 though I seem to get stuck with just CTRL-F, which is another spell altogether.
I wanna be able to use cy_circled as well on BT4, will that be possible?
As mentioned on the first page, cyCircled does no longer work with Bartender 4.
However you can get ButtonFacade from files.wowace.com which does the same effect.
Other than that great addon, as always :)
Looking forward to being able to change the Alpha of the macro text and hotkey :D

Smooth alpha fading with a fade-animation in between, or just change to that alpha? Animation might be a bit too much for my taste ;)

I was thinking a fade-animation, but if that's too much work a two-alpha system for mouseovers (I'd use something like 0.2 normally, 0.8 on mouseover) would be fine. The animation just looks cool.
On my warrior, setting it up today. Bar 4 ,when I used to slider for "rows". it bar bar 4 config stop accepting commands.I only needed 2 buttons...wouldn't let me change it.Wouldn't scale either.
P.S. wouldn't let Button Facade change them either.
after a reload bar was off screen to the bottom.Had to scale it up to get it.I moved to the position I wanted but every time I went lower than 6 buttons it shot off screen again. I locked it, then attempted to position again but wouldn't take any commands after that.

It's the only thing that have kept me away from Bartender3, Bongos was just so much easier to keybind.
Now though, i'm all bartender :D

Bar 4 still won't save settings between sessions.
