Before posting a feature request or a bug report in an AddOn's thread, please attempt to find out where the author of that AddOn would like such thing to be posted. Many times, this information can be found either in the AddOn's thread or it's wiki page.
Common places where authors want bugs & feature requests submitted:
Ticket tracker on the addon's WowAce or CurseForge project page
A personal Google Code or GitHub page
Simply posted in the AddOn's thread
Remember that the more information you can provide, the easier it is to find and fix the problem.
