Priest Dispel Magic is 30 yards as is BoProtection and BoSacrifice. I'll see what I can do to simplify the range menu by default and require an option be selected in an 'advanced' menu to enable multiple ranges.

    Thanks, Pasta.

Personally, I use the top-right corner to show the debuff type in addition to the center icon (icon is only for ones I can cure). That way I can see the type and the icon.

Similar here: border fur debuff type, icon via GridStatusRaidDebuff to see if something really important needs my attention.

I don't know; the first thing I did was disable everything but 40 yards. Previously, I can understand the desire for a range indicator for cleansing spells as well as healing spells, but now that cleansing spells have a 40-yard range, it seems fairly pointless.

Well, I'd suggest to remove the option for more than one range checks. Even if it's as fast as the prior solution, it seems to confuse people a lot, and noone seems to benefit (unless we're both missing something).

Well, here's what an addon could do: whenever you're groupe and in a dungeon, keep scanning all units every 0.1 sec for UnitAffectingCombat(). The first unit returning true is likely to be the unit that aggro'd some mobs. The downside: you have to loop this check instead of listening to an event, as I think there's no event that fires for all unit ids, similar to PLAYER_REGEN_DISABLED.

You said "Out of Range", which was the name of the old, single-range system option

By the way, why would someone want more than one range? Maybe my view is limited as I only play a priest and prefer using 40yrds for everything, but I always thought a single range plus a slider that lets you choose which range you want (28,40,100) should be enough for everyone, and is less confusing than the multi-range...

That should have been the problem. WHat changes did it actually make anyway that were so hard to reverse? Just added everything with an incorrect date? Just curious:)

Well, it added the items (or: altered the DKP for raid members), but neither did it create the raid members in an empty DB (unsure if this will fix it), nor did it create an event.

Havn't dared to import it yet, but the date format has changed.

Edit: uploaded new version with fix for date() and MocOS as well as awarding bosskill waitlist DKP for kelem. Let me know if it doesn't work maia.

As I was asked not to upload any data to the EqDKP site as someone else had to clean it after my last attempt, could you let me know what the correct date string needs to look like? I might have missed it in the SVN, but the only change I've seen recently was to ensure that minutes and seconds (or hours?) have 2 digits - and looking through my export string didn't show any single digit time.

posted a message on Grid <-> Healbot : Can they interact?
Until only a few months ago each addon had it's own communication protocol for incoming heals. Since LibHealComm-3 many addons have moved to use this library instead (e.g. VisualHeal, Grid, PitBull, sRaidFrames, BunchfBars,...) - in other words, you can use any of these addons and see the heals of other users of any of these addons.

Unfortunately, Healbot has it's own, proprietary, undocumented protocol. There's two things you can do, if the other raid healers don't want to switch to a different addon:

    1) convince the Healbot author to use the more-or-less standard LibHealComm-3.0 instead of an undocumented protocol

    2) ask healers in your raid to install the standalone LibHealComm-3.0 library from files.wowace.com. They will then send all healing data to others without having to deal with new addons (as the library itself is invisible, it neither has a UI nor requires a setup).

Are you by any chance on a mac? I will correct the date format so it can't come up wrong next release.

    Yes, MacOSX 10.5

    1) All you need to do is on the import screen where you check all the data if you don't want a certain event entered delete its name. Same for items delete the name or the winner and it won't be entered.

Okay - I was searching for a "[] Ignore this event" checkbox in the import screen or some javascript goodness.

    2) CTRL_click the item in the fubar tablet (Note has to have been looted once to see it there)

Ah, so once I ignore an item it'll be added to the list and ignored always.

    3) Turn on the whisper system. Right click icon /dkp functions/Other options(I think)/whisper system

On your website I read that it's "very spammy", which is why I didn't dare to use it. Which is why I'd like to suggest to add some description on what it does on the website. Ideally I'd want to be able to click an item to auto /rw a "send me BID for item: [item]", then have a tablet showing all current bids with their current DKP, and then clicking on a name will distribute the item (when using ML) and/or do a "/rw Grats [name] on [item]" - but I bet the whisper system is a bit different.

    5) Not currently but once you one member has them they can be synced

Okay, so for the first weeks I'll have to start from scratch and look up the RCP we've previously been using for each item to set the values in MorgDKP, correct?

Morgalm, when importing a raid to an empty eqdkp table I get spammed with an error in function TimestringtoTimestamp($timestring) in Morgfunc.php:

Warning: mktime() expects parameter 1 to be long, string given in /home/learniip/public_html/tbc-rcp/plugins/morgdkp/Morgfunc.php on line 592
!addnewYou have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ',1,0,70,7,8,0,0)' at line 1

I guess this refers to <date>Sun Apr 6 04:23:48 2008</date> in the raid xml data. The import did process the loot, but it didnt create the members (only had a list of attendees), and it didn't create an event either.

I'd also like to add some questions, as I just started using MorgDKP:

    1) will the morg import scripts prevent data from being added twice to the DB? I've had the problem that I did two raids after each other and then assumed I could choose which one to export, but I ended up with a bix xml file and didn't see any simple way to split the file in a text editor.

    2) how do I add an item to be ignored? I can only remove items from the ignore list...

    3) currently we're doing a manual "send me tells for [item]", then checking the dkp list to see who's on top. Is there any automation feature that could make this easier? Getting all raid members to install an addon is no option.

    4) our raid officers aren't all in the same guild. Does MorgDKP only attempt to sync in the guild channel or also in the raid channel?

    5) is there a way to import the item prices we currently use from the eqdkp installation on the webserver by parsing the history?

    Thanks! :)

Well, I need the ManaBars with my Warrior to be able to rate if the overall mana is enough to pull the next mobs or if I should make a mana-rest. This isn't doable with binary indicators because some groups are smaller some bigger, while the one healer has full mana the other one has low mana, or both have half mana, or whatever. I couldn't set as much indicators as there are situations.
But as a Healer I don't them, thats right.

Seeing if the raid has enough mana for the next pull is what addons like (a)x_RaidStatus take care of - better than any unit frame addon.

    Quote from Taldeir »

Before they added the suffix to players in battlegrounds the combination of sRaidFrames and IncomingHeals (uses Roster) was great. IncomingHeals left a square on the raid frame of everyone who I had placed a HoT on for the duration of the HoT. Inside the square it would have the amount that each tick of the HoT was doing. Visually, this meant I could very clearly see who I had already put a Renew on - very valuable in a big Alterac Valley battle.

while you were gone, many addons (VisualHeal, Grid, PitBull, sRaidFrames, PerfectRaid, BunchOfBars,...) switched to LibHealComm-3.0, which does not use RosterLib. While Grid does currently not display how much time is left on your Renews, it should be possible to add that functionality to a module. We'd just have to find someone to do so ;)

I have no idea, but may I ask you to temporarily rename all Grid related files in your WTF / SavedVariables folder, disable all addons except Grid, launch WoW, invite a few guildies to a pseudo raid for a minute and then zone to a new zone? Without narrowing down what's causing it there's probably noone who'll be able to help you.

Also, which language is your client using?
