    This may be the height of laziness and not even remotely possible but is there any way to get parrot to trigger bits of macro code based on certain events?


    For example, I'd like to always use my Icon of the Silver Crescent whenever my t4 set bonus procs (the buff is called Flameshadow). I already set up a trigger to blast Flmaeshadow!!! up in the notification area and play a sound but it'd be really cool if that could also automatically use my trinket as well.

    I have a felling that this is one of those things that Blizz has prevented addons from doing but it can't hurt to ask...

    Out of curiosity, how does the Resurrection Monitor work? The reason I ask is because sometimes people will pop into it while being res'd and other times they won't. For example, paladin A is resing shaman A...it shows up in the monitor. The next time someone dies, pally A res's hunter A...it doesn't show. Third death, same shammy from before, pally A res's shammy A...doesn't show. I realize this part of the mod is to make resing more efficient but I had the same issue with CT equivalent.

    My AI seems to run pretty efficiently...I have 20 bars and 10 rules and it never gets that high up in PerformanceFu. Ace2 is the biggest consumer of memory at about 10MB

    I noticed this too...I have 4 at one point and it only said 2...really ticked me off (not the mod, but WoW)...I thought they didn't find their way into my keyring for some reason.

    it seems to be when the frames overlap, ie the bank frame moves over the bag frame - it's something to do with blizzards code, and it links in (i think) somehow with the framelevel problem making the background come up over the items. several other mods have the same thing happen.

    I use WitchHunt to display enemy casts for example, which arent displayed by Parrot.


    My WitchHunt alerts are displayed via parrot and have been for the last couple of rev's...make sure you have the latest versions of both and you should be good...

    Just a quick question...

    What is the difference between these two libraries? They both, according to the TOC, seem to do the same thing. Another strange thing is that ParserLib lists Parser-3.0 as an optional dependency. I could be reading it wrong though...

    No word from Blizzard about the edit rules button crashing Mac clients I take it?

    Is is it possible to manually add rules to my saved variables file and if so what's the format?


    I notice that there's a "rules" hash in there, it goes something like ["rule"] = { ... }


    The pre 2.0 format looked something like:

    Found a bit of a bug in the latest release...

    In the omen config menu when I go to Display->Skin Settings->Arrows and click on "Show Aggro" it checks off "Show Self" instead. The reverse isn't true though...clicking "Show Self" does not check "Show Aggro".

    When doing daily quests today I noticed that while affected by Rend (and other type effects) the damage would scroll down but instead of having the effect name it would just say (<Name>)...kinda funny really...


    Other than that it's working great...
