Personally, I know I'd love that feature, too. However, look at it from the opposite perspective. It seems like it would be a lot of extra work for the author that could be avoided if this feature were NOT added to Pitbull. :)

I don't see how it could be *a lot* of extra work, but I see your point. My point is, however, that since this is an extremely customizable set of unitframes there should be no problem in adding such a feature.

I'm doing fine without the feature, so I'm not losing any sleep over this, and it's also not really cramping my playing at all so I'll survive with or without this idea. Like I said though, it's a feature request that I can see more than myself and you that would make it useful.

I actually quite enjoy the cooldown monitoring. I just wish there was a way to nullify it if more than N skills were on CD.

The reason for my request is so that I can remove the background entirely (alpha to 0) on my raid frames, but still have some what of a background on every other frame.

You can already do this the resource-intensive way. Turn off backgrounds entirely, then create an eePanel for every other frame and set its parent to that frame. If you want every other frame to be the same, change your global settings for new eePanels first, and create new panels based on the global settings. Then the only thing you have to do with them is set the parent.

Be that as it may... I don't really see a reason for doing this when I only want one type of frame to not have a background. Seems like a lot of extra work that could be avoided if this feature were added to PitBull.

Speaking of spam.. is it possible for me to nullify the "[skill] is ready!" event if I get kicked?

As a Paladin all my skills are nullified when I get kicked.. man does this create a lag spike when the kick ends..

    Holy Shock is ready!
    Holy Light is ready!
    ....

    etc etc.

I would like the ability to change the color (background color namely) and alpha settings per unitframe instead of globally.

I didn't notice a way to throttle power gains. If there isn't currently (I tried to do it while I was in an instance, so I didn't have a lot of time to tinker around with it (healing ftl)) I'd like to suggest a way to do that.

Mana Spring Totem is what I am referring to. Seeing it display +12 Mana every 2 seconds is spammy (not really, but..)

    Edit: Nevermind. It already exists.

I know its only alpha right now but is it safe to assume this will have the whole dogtag support shebang on release? I tried just now and it didn't work to my disappointment =p

I don't see how this addon would benefit from using the DogTag library.

You have to remember that Parrot is still in alpha. And, imo, it has quite a bit of customization already. Just give it time.

Is power gain == mana? I think mana should be a different setup just like damage and heals.

The reason it's called power is pretty simple, honestly. Would you like to make a new profile for each character you have just to display rage/mana/energy gains?

Is there any DogTag to output information from another mod. I'm talking about BEQL which modifies the tooltip to show if that mob or item is part of a quest you currently are on. It does not however modify CowTip.

I was not inquiring as to why I didn't have it. I was asking, with the current tags, if it was possible to do it.

I'm not looking for a solution or an answer that requires another addon to perform this. I was making a feature request, or requesting the information needed to do such a feature already.

I appreciate the replies as to how I would do it, but it's not what I was looking for.

Also, I just recently switched to MSBT and now to Parrot. Unless it was added within the last 3-5 days it's not a default SCT option.

A friend of mine mentioned an addon that, when you got reputation, it displayed it in a form like:

+12 Reputation - Lower City (3098 til Revered)

With the current tagging, is this possible? I've not seen anywhere in this thread where it's mentioned as to what tagging library is used.

Forgive my ignorance, but.. I see no way to get any buttons at all. The main sphere sits on my screen and does nothing. I see no options to add buttons, I've clicked in every possible position.

What am I doing wrong? I used the latest version as of my attempts last night.
