posted a message on Raid status?
I dont know if this is posted in the right section, but her it goes:

Im looking for an addon that just displays some raid status as text, something like:

    Members: 25
    Alive: 15
    Alive average HP: 17%
    Alive average Mana: 10%

As a caster in raid you dont really need more info. So I am kinda hoping there is an addon that does this somewhere around..

An addon like this would save a lot of screen space, and that is what I am after.. So if anyone knows of an addon that does this, or can be set to something like this, pls let me know :)

Well, go on wowinterface and download the textures.. They are on there in one of many full UI's, or download a buttonfacade skin with them or something.. >_>

    Like I said before :)

As far as I can see there are a few things you can be doing wrong.. First of all, make sure your link to the texture looks like this: <Texture name="Border" file="Interface\AddOns\DBM-Core\textures\frameborder" level="TOP">
    ..
So make sure it has singel \ instead of \\ that most shared media links have now. And make sure the border file in the folder where it is linked to is named (in this case) frameborder.tga, but in the file leave out the .tga.

Second of all: The fact that it went from green to black can mean 2 things:
    1) You fiddled with the color code?
    2) You have a texture set for an icon instead of for a border? (So the file your loading to create a border is in fact a picture, and not a proper border texture?)

Hope this wil solve your problems :)

Thanks alot for the DBM ideas!

Made my usual ripoffs and they fit nicely in my UI imo.

I think everyone (me included :P ) has that exact same DBM mod now :)

On the UI I would say: Enlarge the chat font, reskin the minimap to match the buffs / buttons, and lower the buff position to match the top of the minimap :P

Just open the DBT-Template file ina texteditor (notepad or simmilar).

    Then look for the

parentbar, $parentIcon1 and play with the sizes on those (the y size is the thickness of the bar)

$parentSpark might need some adjustment to the y number aswell to make it match the new thinner bar.

Then play with the offsets on the $parentName, $parentTimer and $parentIcon1. Once again its mainly the y that needs adjusting since thats the up/down, remeber that you might need to use negative numbers.

Load up wow with only DBM active (makes it faster) edit a number, save file and reload UI then start testbars.

Took about 5-10 min to get that look for me that has very limited programing experience and close to no experience in lua. Thanks to Ocularis for hes pointer to what needed to be adjusted.

TY man! that helped :) got mine to look more like I wanted them to look.. But with my very limited knowledge of real coding, I cant find out how to skin those icons :O

    Anyway, TY!

Your raid frames seem very cramped... maybe increase the spacing between individual frames a tad?

If I needed them for anything else than just to see whos allive and whos not then maybe, but atm I only use them to see whos dead :P

Im a DK and a mage, and on the mage I use decursive for all functions, so I could just as easy do withouth the raid frames :)

And another quick one: The buffs need to be lowered 1 or 0.5 pixels to match the minimap top hight :P I dont know how strict you are about lining stuff up, I just thought I'd mention it :)
