As discussed a few posts above, the reason for this is that a new version of Pitbull has been released and the old layouts codes are not compatible with the new version. Wait for people to redo their layouts and post their code here. I personally can't wait to see what people will come up with here.

Is there any reason that when I import a new layout from this forum that it doesn't even come close to what it looks like in here and has all sorts of errors?? I have searched these forums for two days now, and it seems like I am the only one with this issue. I am a noob when it comes to addons I have used them for a long time but have not really manipulated them at all. I would really like a response to this cause it is driving me crazy. I have also installed like 6 different versions of pitbull at this point and have had to delete all of them because I couldn't get any layout to work... PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME
Here is a SS of what my player unit frame looks like after I import the cWootelf layout for player frames

Hm I have successfully configured my own layout and I do like the functionality of this addon. Then i checked other peoples layouts and i just feel utterly ashamed of my crappy attempt! I have the same problem as you though, importing layouts from others just makes a complete jumble out of my interface. Maybe it is because all of the previous layouts were made for the old version of pitbull?

I am sorry if I am asking stupid questions for which i should know the answers. Let me try to clarify.

So i have the new Cartographer, Cartographer_mining and Cartographer_herbalism successfully installed. All I want to do now is add this database file to mine so that i can see all the nodes on my map. I think you said that the LUA file is the correct file. When i put it in my World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\-name-\SavedVariables folder though nothing happens. There is already supposed to be a file in that folder with the same name that i should replace with the new one. There is no file like that to be found though. I read somewhere on this forum that the new rock framework uses different database files all rolled into one.
So i came here to ask which files are now used as the database and where to find more complete ones from other users.

    Thank you.

The instructions are to copy the database files into this folder:

    World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\-name-\SavedVariables

There are no files in that folder though! I am supposed to replace the old "Cartographer_Herbalism.lua" with the new, updates and complete version.

How did you go about getting your nodes?

    Dear forumers,

I also read that there are still people that work on the ACE2 framework version. Could you provide a link to their version of Cartographer? Maybe that would save me all the trouble with this new version.

I searched for an answer for this question for a long time. After not finding an answer i now turn to you for help. When Cartographer was in Ace format i used the Cartographer_herbalism and Cartographer_mining addon to make collecting things more convenient. There are databases available that contain all the herb and mineral notes in the game that i had to put in my WTF folder. Basically my question is, where can I find databases for the new Cartographer, or how do I make the old ones work?

Thank you very much in advance.
