posted a message on Threat Displayed as DPS
Ok this sounds like a strange idea, also it's really only for warriors who are tanking. I was woundering if any of you all could figure out a way to make something that would display the amount of threat your producing in the from of DPS. I know that threat skills are not actually damage I would just love to see a theoritical display of what my DPS could have been and what the actual DPS the raid should have been doing.

Since I'm actually getting to raid with my warrior all the time now as one of our MT's, I now we have a few folks who need to step up there damage and a couple who need to step there's down. We have a couple of really well geared rogues compaired to me. KTM is nice and shows total threat values and with Damage Meters we can see how much damage folks are doing, but would love to see this in a DPS format instead.

So basically DPS + extra threat from skills= fictional DPS total. The amount that anybody should be able to do. I now it's not exact but it would be interesting to see.

I would have to aggre with Lewzephyr on the background Alpha being set to 100% and being opaque. I don't have the best of eye sight and well the three quarters opacity is hard to see and straining to see it hurts my eyes as well.

Of course if you just want to tell me were to change it I can do that as well.

Thanks for all the help, I figured out what most of the silly file size was. I had .svn folders in nearly ever single Mod that I had in there. Removing those droppped it by 3megs alone. Removing Atlas as well made it drop down to 5.6megs total. So mostly it was my silly fault for not looking at what was sitting in my folders.

Also they were not all ready compressed, that would have been silly to compress a compressed file. I was just not getting any compression at all with WinZip for some reason. But I got it all figured out.

I currently have it hosted on WOWI, and direct them there to get it. It's faster and bit smoother to do that. It is a bunch of very small mods, mostly aced mods and a few others. I will have to read the rules there again, and see if there is anything against self-extracting files.

I will check my settings in WinZip, but I believe I was using max compression. I will also play with 7zip some more and see if I can get it worked out.

Thank you both for the help and I will see if I can get it to work.

This is probably not the best place to ask this, but well you all seem to know your stuff. I manage a small pack of Mod's for my friends. I have been having a problem with getting it to compresse. I have been using WinZip for it due to the compatiblity with everybodys windows.

The problem is that the total folder size is 10mb and the zip is also 10mb. Is there a program that can create zip files that can be opened by the windows decompression utility that will compresse the files down to close to 6mb. I have tryied 7zip and it can get the size I want with diffrent compression formats.

The poeple this is for really only know how to use zip files.

there is one, use the search, it is in the thord page on the addons collection. it was for cardbars but is basically for the standard buttons

I would use that one but well from the threads on it. It seems to have serious GC problems. Also I have a couple of problems with Card Bars namely the main bar not scaling correctly, with my warrior or druid.

iriel from wow forums wrote one specifically on a request i made when 1.8 broke all the range/mana recoloring mods.

it's so tiny, no config, no options, nothing. check it out: RedRange scroll down the page to it.

    enjoy!

I have it at the moment and it is fairly nice just wish the Red was a bit more bright. I know I can go into the Lua file and change the color code manually but well I have a felling that I would really screw it up.

I would love to see Ace'd version of either of these. I can't find a Mod that colors my action buttons that is very very tiny on mem or garbage collection. The same is true for Cooldown Count they both jump my GC by about 10.
