    posted a message on Detecting Warrior stance
    I'm trying to get the current stance and capture the events relative to stance changes for other players (specifically warriors), apparently SpecialEvents-Aura doesn't intercept that. Any ideas ?

    Edit : found how to intercept stance change with CHAT_MSG_SPELL_PERIODIC_PARTY_BUFFS but I cannot for the life of me get the stance for a raidXX unit :(

    posted a message on Grid
    As a prerequisite to me tinkering over the GridLayout as a learn LUA kinda project I tried to enter the following layout snippet :
    [2] = { -- DPS ranged
    nameList = "Maxximum,Waseeb,Heroictof,Mokhtar",
    maxColumns = 4,
    unitsPerColumn = 5
    Goal was to have a layout like that
    [Tank 1][DPS 1][DPS 6]
    [Tank 2][DPS 2][DPS 7]
    [Tank 3][DPS 3]...
        [DPS 4]
        [DPS 5]

    I get the following error and the layout deosn't load properly :
    [2007/11/01 16:35:13-259-x1]: Interface\FrameXML\SecureTemplates.lua:613: bad argument #1 to 'strupper' (string expected, got nil):

    Waterfall-1.0-51984 (Waterfall-1.0):3414: in function <...AddOns\Waterfall-1.0\Waterfall-1.0\Waterfall-1.0.lua:3408>

    Any ideas ?

    What I'm trying to do for those interested (and maybe someone already did something like that ?) is to dynamically alter the layout according to the raid composition. Old layouts like Tanks, Heal, DPS being outdated in TBC with hybrid classes getting their niche (Feral druids as tank / melee dps, Shadow priests as ranged DPS...) I'm trying to hack into GridLayout (ooc only obviously) by dynamically generating group breakdown based on namesList...

    Edit : using r53623
    Edit2 : I know this is supposed to go into a bug report tool but the link provided in the wiki is down... Any place I might find some help ?

    posted a message on Chronometer (Ace2'ed AceTimer)
    Feature request : Prayer of Mending tracking similar to MendWatch ( http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=6576#cmnt30847 ). It makes sense to bundle it all with Chronometer, especially since there seems to be a compatibility issue betwenn the two.

    PoM works like this (not sure you're familiar with newer priests spells) : target get a 30sec buff, if hit during that time gets a ~1k heal and buff jumps to a raid/group member nearby. 5 charges (so 4 jumps).
    Displayed in the chronometer bar should be the person with the buff + charges remaining.

    Not high level enough on live to test if just tinkering with the spell dictionnary would do the job or if more heavy coding is required :)
