    since r71001 you can turn each tracking spell on/off separately in the options.

    The reason for failing is probably because I'm not using a mount but the epic 280% flight form for druids.

    Maybe you can add support for flight forms?

    Latest version (70670) contains code to check for flight form - unfortunatelly i have no way of testing it. If you get a chance to test it i'd appreciate it.

    The updated german-locale will not be loaded. I have in the config menu (typing /tsw) only the english descriptions for the options. Beside this, tracksw doens't work on the german client in the moment.


    Latest version doesn't require translations of the tracking spells in order to work , try if that fixes the problem. (the localization file is only for the config window now)

    That is why there is a 'work only inside instances' option and on top of that you can set a 'standby' keybind to turn it on/off fast.

    Well i had an option to not do that originally , but keeping up with the KISS principle ;) ... i removed it since a) swap out of combat doesn't trigger GCD b) the difference in +healing hardly matters out of combat c) you wan't it to swap in combat isntead ? (that doesn't sound preferable) ... i can ofc add it back as an option if it's a big problem (am i not seeing some problem that comes with it?)

    It does switch in combat as long as you are *mounted*, if you unmount (basically engage in the fight) it should not switch (this is mainly for flying mounts where you can easily get aggro from mobs even in the air, but you really aren't fighting) ... if it switches for you *even* if you are unmounted in combat, then that would be a bug (servers down atm. so i can't try to reproduce)

    As long as it's a buff that is applied to the player , then it would be as easy as changing:

    local SSSpellId = 27996
    local SSEnchantID = 2674
    local SSCD = 50


    to the values appropriate for mongoose.

    data from GatherMate - designed for players with multiple gathering
    professions.

    features

    description

    Tracksw automatically switches your active tracking spell depending on
    nearby nodes contained in GatherMate (which is a dependency of Tracksw).

    Tracksw has several configurable parameters in order to accommodate
    different mount speeds / play styles. It is possible to change the range
    at which it 'detects' nodes, how fast it updates and it is possible to
    define an angle in front of the player in which it scans (for example
    avoiding changing tracking due to a node not in the direct path of the
    player).

    Because changing the active tracking triggers the global cooldown, it is
    possible to switch only once 1.5seconds. In order to work 'around' this
    Tracksw has a cluster setting - any node within that range from the
    node that triggered a tracking switch will not be considered for a
    switch and Tracksw switches to the Tracking with the highes priority
    (this is not configurable atm. and is set to Herbs > Minerals > Fish >
    Treasure, mainly because Herbs are generally harder to spot). If a new
    tracking switch is triggered while the player is on global cooldown from
    a previous switch - the new switch is deferred to the moment the global
    cooldown ends.

    usage

    The Tracksw configuration window can be accessed with the /tsw slash
    command.

    NOTE:
    - Tracksw had only limited testing on a 280% speed mount.

    Manasurge is an addon that handles weapon switching depending on
    spellsurge procs.

    features

    - support for 2h/1h+oh combos
    - tries to avoid triggering GCD on set switch
    - can be set to be active only inside instances
    - can be set to autoequip spellsurge set on start of fight
    - does nothing if the weapon slot becomes empty during fight
    - does nothing if the user switches to a new weapon manually (eg. Kael'thas)

    description

    Two sets of mainhand+offhand items has to be set (offhand is optional).
    One is the normal set which contains a weapon without spellsurge. The
    second is the spellsurge set containing a weapon enchanted with spellsurge.
    The offhand slot does not have to be set and in that case is not switched
    (that is the case when you have two one handed weapons for switching).
    Setting the offhand slot is usefull when one of the sets contains a
    two-handed weapon and the other contains a one-handed weapon and an offhand.

    Once Manasurge detects a proc of spellsurge that belongs to the player
    it switches to the normal set (does not have to happen instantly, more
    on that later) and schedules a re-equipment of the spellsurge set once
    the cooldown on the spellsurge enchant runs out.

    Another feature of manasurge is that it tries to avoid triggering a
    global cooldown on the weapon switch by deferring the actual weapon
    swap to a moment when the player triggers GCD by another action (casting
    a spell). For this purpose a spell has to be set in the configuation
    that is used to check the status of GCD. A time limit can be set to how
    long it waits before forcing the switch.

    usage

    The Manasurge configuration window can be accessed with the /ms slash
    command.
