Zews, that option is already implemented. Check the "filter buffs" option ;).

*laughs* That about sums it up.

Mind you, in actual practice it's more like:

"If the tank dies, it's the healer's fault for sucking. If the healer dies, it's the healer's fault for pulling aggro. If anyone else dies, it's the healer's fault for no having more mana. Oh, by the way, loot goes to tanks first, DPS second, and healers last. Healers don't need gear."

And people wonder why their healers are always quitting :P.

Nope, that's why I like PR. I keep it off center on my screen, so I actually watch the action (example). This way I can gauge both range and who might be taking damage at any given time. Also, because PR puts all the raid members more or less in visible range without me having to scan the screen, I can just watch healthbars moving to judge who is taking how much damage. About the only thing I'd add to it is a damage fade like Discord has, I did find that useful in parties.

Also, generally in a raid, if someone other than a tank is taking a lot of damage, they're toast. They'll likely be dead before I get anything off, dead even if I do get anything off, and the aggro will be back on the tank when they die. If I do frantically heal them, I could end up with the aggro. That's one hot potato I don't want! I guess this philosophy is a by-product of an old guild's "if it isn't a tank, they have bandages" rule.

I suppose it's still more or less tactical whack-a-mole at it's finest, but until someone comes up with a game that's built on an entirely different dynamic, that's all healing will ever be.

Smite is just such a more awesome word than applaud, you know? I mean, who wants to applaud someone when you can smite them!

I found Perfect Raid to be all I needed. Call me old fashioned, but as a general rule I prefer to play the game, rather than let addons play it for me. PR gives me all the display options I need. I consider buffs the responsability of the player. If you don't have buffs, send a tell to the appropriate raid member.

Oh, is there any way to see pet happiness? Right now I don't see any way to gauge that!

Edit: Right click on target and party members doesn't seem to be working unless the target is myself.

Edit edit: Apparently throwing my pet into the stable did not cause the pet frame to disappear.

I was thinking a simple color picker / alpha for the background. The ability to have a border would be nice too, but then things get complex, like what happens to borders when bars are docked to eachother and whatnot. I can always just write a tiny mod to put borders where I want, I guess!

I've just always been bothered by the "floating UI element." Call me weird :P.

andreasg, any status on adding mobhealth support? Do the debuff textures have the type coloration now, or is that even a planned feature?

    Looking awesome otherwise.

If you're taking feature requests, my biggie would be button spacing! And maybe a background option? And an option to hide the binding text? I don't want to add too much, I love that these are so light weight. I find I hardly even miss DAB.

Debuffs are working now, but they don't have the colorful borders (they're uniformly red). Also, they don't have numbers on them (like sunder doesn't show how many sunders).

I'm no longer getting any errors, though! Yay!

I thought there was something called metamap that was all the rage among the kiddos. I forget, now. I'm getting old, senile, and incontinent. Or is that incompotent. Impotent?

Got an error. Seems to change from line 335 to 336 is I enable of disable buff filtering.

UnitFrames.lua:335: attempt to index field `?' (a nil value)

This is on a hunter, if it matters ^^.

Edit: Trying to do anything with my pet frame causes the following:

UnitClass.lua:923: AceLocale(ag_UnitFrames): Translation for "pet" does not exist

Hmm, you know, I really am liking that layout you have there. I may give this a spin.

A quick q unrelated to the mod, but what is the name of the mod that makes that Fubar XP bar on the bottom edge? There's so many dratted Fubar exp mods out there, I can't find out which one it is ><.

Edit: Finally found it. It's FuXPFu, for anyone else who's curious.

I'm not sure which is more interesting, the algorithm or the fact that I understand it! *laughs* Neat stuff, clad. Pity it isn't too practical in WoW, but it's fun none-the-less.
