    posted a message on I guess MobSpells needs a thread.
    Any chance we could get DogTag support?

    This would allow for doing things like:

    [If HasSpell(type:"Heal") then "Polymorph Me!"]
    or
    [if HasSpell("Kapew pew after 30 seconds") then "Kill me before 30 secoonds!!"]
    or
    [Spells]
    or even
    [if HasSpell(classtype:"Mage") then "Onoes! It's a mage!"]

    One small request: Disable raid buffing for non raid buffing (Use Arcane Intellect on everyone instead of 8 Arcane Brilliance) for those of us who are a little cheaper =P

    posted a message on Extending LibDogTag-3
    I'm more of less a noob at this, but here's my attempt:

    Create the folder LibDogTag-nerdfish-3.0
    and the files LibDogTag-nerdfish-3.0.toc & core.lua

    LibDogTag-nerdfish-3.0.toc:

    ## Interface: 20400
    ## LoadOnDemand: 1
    ## Title: Lib: DogTag-nerdfish-3.0
    ## Notes: Nerdfish's stuffs
    ## Author: nerdfish
    ## Version: 1.0
    ## X-Category: Library
    ## Dependencies: LibDogTag-3.0

    cora.lua

    Core.lua:
    --[[
    Name: LibDogTag-nerdfish-3.0
    Revision: $Rev: 68104 $
    Author: nerdfish
    Website: http://www.wowace.com/
    Description: nerdfish's stuffs
    ]]

    local MAJOR_VERSION = "LibDogTag-nerdfish-3.0"
    local MINOR_VERSION = tonumber(("$Revision: 1 $"):match("%d+")) or 0

    if MINOR_VERSION > _G.DogTag_nerdfish_MINOR_VERSION then
    _G.DogTag_nerdfish_MINOR_VERSION = MINOR_VERSION
    end

    DogTag_nerdfish_funcs[#DogTag_nerdfish_funcs+1] = function(DogTag_nerdfish, DogTag)

    local L = DogTag_nerdfish.L

    local frame
    if DogTag_nerdfish.oldLib and DogTag_nerdfish.oldLib.frame then
    frame = DogTag_nerdfish.oldLib.frame
    frame:UnregisterAllEvents()
    frame:SetScript("OnEvent", nil)
    frame:SetScript("OnUpdate", nil)
    frame:Show()
    else
    frame = CreateFrame("Frame")
    end
    DogTag_nerdfish.frame = frame
    frame:RegisterAllEvents()
    frame:SetScript("OnEvent", function(this, event, ...)
    if (...) == "target" then
    if nerdfishIsnerdfish("mouseover", "target") then
    DogTag:FireEvent(event, "mouseover", select(2, ...))
    end
    DogTag:FireEvent(event, "playertarget", select(2, ...))
    elseif (...) == "pet" then
    DogTag:FireEvent(event, "playerpet", select(2, ...))
    elseif type((...)) == "string" then
    local num = (...):match("^partypet(%d)$")
    if num then
    DogTag:FireEvent(event, "party" .. num .. "pet", select(2, ...))
    end
    end
    end)

    Then everything else in your lua file.

    Goodluck

    Quote from iluran »

    Thx for letting us voice :)

    The times I used Dog Tags I have managed to get te result I wanted looking at the Wiki. Butfor me the ultimate solution would be some kind of GUI wrapper or GUI DogTag builder.
    From such a thing you would be able to select all current Dog Tags options, parameters and color etc. When you hit submit if will spit out the formatting in a window below. You can repeat the selection steps of elements until you have the whole formatting you want and just copy it into the other ace programs that supports them.

    I would love to see this as a standalone addon. But even nicer would be some sort of icon you can click beside the place you can type the code. Dog Tags builder window would pop up. And with every submit or final submit it would place/fill in the code into the ace program just like you did it by hand.

    Benefits:
    -You don't have to worry about anyone else idea of formatting you own code/syntax.
    -No one else needs to worry about the code/syntax because the program spits it out correctly

    But ofc I know nothing about lua. And don't know if this is even possible.

    GL and thx :)

    If you use LibDogTag-2.0 as an external (Like a normal addon inside your Addons folder) you can type /dogtag and there's a similar system to the one you described =)

    Does anyone find that easier to understand than [Class = "Mage" ? "I Make Tables!" ! "I Demand Tables!"]? I think it's a bit less logical...especially with the curly braces serving the "wrong" purpose (in terms of what I'm used to from most programming languages).

    Is that already in? If so It's time for me to catch up. If not... Hey, Ck.. wanna do me a favor? But yeah, that definitely looks nicer.

    One Thing I would like for an improvement is to have a better if statement. Maybe something like this:

    [ IfEqual { ( Class )( "Mage" ) } ? Text(I Make Tables!) ! Text(I Demand Tables!)]

    In the text options add a new one called Health Percent. Anchor it to out of frame on the right side to the health bar. Change the normal Health ones to show absolute.

    Same with Mana =)

    Make sure you don't have CombatFader AND RangeCheck Enabled. Those two like to fight.

    @panos

    Not currently.
    You could add the text [Class] to make it show the name if you wanted =P
    Or youl could to make a Jira Ticket: http://jira.wowace.com/secure/CreateIssue!default.jspa =)
