no, i never mentioned duration, it shows a bar even when no one is affected, this is bad for resists also

It's not a targetted spell, so there's no one I can check to see if it was resisted. Basically: the addon has no clue who is supposed to be affected by the spell, so it has no way to verify if those people were affected. The best it can do is show how long people who were hit by it will be feared.

Yeah, all of this stuff with Improved Shadowbolt and Healing Way and whatnot is a known problem with those kind of "event-based" spells. Basically: there's no chat message sent that tells me that they have been "refreshed", so after the initial application it pretty much stops working.

At some point I'll put in some code so that if you have a 100% chance to reapply the buff when casting that spell, and the buff is already up when you cast, it will refresh the bar. If there's less than a 100% chance of refreshing on a cast, though, there is absolutely no way for an AddOn to know whether the effect was refreshed or not.

Devla - I think you want TargetByName instead of TargetUnit. TargetUnit expects a unitId (like "player", "target", "party1", etc.), and so when my hook calls UnitName(unit), it fails because "Deathchill Servant" isn't a valid unitId.

Id - the click-to-recast stuff is already there - left-click recasts, right-click kills the bar, and middle click conflags on immolate and swiftmends on rejuv/regrowth.

The other stuff that came up (ice block, gouge, etc.) I'll be looking at when I get a chance.

Just chiming in to say that the Ace2 MrPlow has been working great for me so far. Is it pretty much just localization that's keeping it out of the trunk now?

All right, hopefully "/chron self" should work a bit better now... Don't really have time to test it at the moment, though, so feel free to yell at me if it doesn't.

Olivier - thanks for those translations, they're in now.

Also, I put in an attempted fix for the invisible bar texture deal. Let me know if anyone still has problems with that.

"/chron self" does not work! Bloodrage and Battleshout are still shown.

Yeah... I guess a lot of those types of abilities aren't technically "self-targetting" - they just have no target at all. Then again, some things that we do want to have timers for have no target (like psychic scream, or frost nova). I think I'll make the self option also block out untargetted buffs, but not untargetted debuffs.

Yeah, I think the transparent "default" bars must be due to some addon or another having an old version of CandyBar that doesn't include the texture, or something along those lines. I'll just point manually to the texture in Chronometer's folder so it doesn't get confused.

Sorry about the bar sizes changing - I took the defaults from CDT so that they'd match each other better. I believe that the old values were width: 200 and height: 16, with scale: 1.

    Still doesnt work properly.

It works when you test the addon with /chron test.

In actual use though (fighting a mob), it still doesn't work.

Shows me to try and code an addon while raiding. :) Should be actually fixed now.

The BGAlpha option doesn't seem to do anything. It remains non-transparent for me, even when I set it to 0.3.

    Bah... Fixed now.

I added a ton of options for bar width/height/colors, text size and colors, etc. I patterned all of the options on the ones in CDT, so you should be able to pretty much make your Chronometer and CDT bars look identical now.

Just added "/chron reverse", which reverses the bar growth direction (they'll fill up instead if emptying out), for those of you who like that kind of thing. ;)

Weird. Well, 13001 was just me updating my todo list in the readme, so no harm in using the previous version.

All righty - I added a "/chron self" option to toggle on and off bars for spells on the player.

As far as the duration issue lapalapa mentioned... I think I can fix that one pretty easily. (The bars might still appear a split second late, but I can make them end at the correct time.)

i havent gotten them to track sheep timers ? ? and will this be a replacement for Nature enemycastbars becuase atm NECB tracks alot more

If you want a replacement for NECB, you should look at HostelBars. This addon tracks the duration of spells that you cast. Hostel tracks spells/buffs that enemies cast and their cooldowns.
