    Hi Acacia! I'm currently trying to get your package off Cursegaming, but upon doing so, I get the following message: This project and its downloads are currently unavailable. I'll wait a bit and try again later :) For now, thanks for uploading!

    You must have tried while I was re-uploading it, I had missed to include the Font folder. I just tried and it works fine now :)

    I seem to be having the "Combat Log shifting" problem as well. I use the CombatLog (ChatFrame2) as gen/trade/xp/faction/honor/loot window and have it undocked on the right-hand side of my screen. The bottom is slightly offscreen so that there is maybe a 2-3 pixel gap between the bottom of letters in the window and the bottom of my screen (same for ChatFrame1, which I have no problems with). It doesn't matter what combination of moving/locking/addon loading I do...ChatFrame2 moves up my screen about an inch and a half and I have to move it back every time I login. It seems to stay put when simply reloading the UI, though.

    Same here as described in the eePanels thread (thought it was eeP that caused it) http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=8139.msg140089#msg140089

    I'll try tinkering with the MiniChat config some to see if it happens without eePanels active.

    Thanks but where exactly do I put this code

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    THIS_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function THIS_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      THIS:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight()+10)
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    THIS_Hook:HookScript(eePanelX, "OnSizeChanged") --the eePanelX is the eepanel you want to spy

    Btw I only have one eePanel bordering my chat window so I only need to resize one of them when I minimise my chat window.

    Thanks again.

    I don't have the game in front of me atm but basically:

    • I assume you're using eePanels2, not the original one, and that you have advanced options enabled
    • To parent the panel to the chat frame: Under the options for the panel you want to use as a chat background, find where it says "UIParent" and replace with "ChatFrame1"
    • As a sub option to the panel you want to use as a background, you'll have a script option. Paste this script:

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    THIS_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function THIS_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      THIS:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight() + 15) --Note: The "+ 15" is to have a lil gap between panel side and actual text area. Same reason i have my BGPanel width set to 105%.
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    THIS_Hook:HookScript(ChatFrame1, "OnSizeChanged")

    hums, works to some degree. Still a tad above when logging in (as the screen I previously posted), but at least it goes back to the "correct" position when Ive min/maxed them once. Guess I have to settle for that :)

    Having a problem with Minichat and attached eepanels:

    http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1093/1408586930_197d609ba3_o.jpg

    Chat frames appear some pixels above the bottom frame (was originally aligned, edge to edge, but resets upon log out). If I minimize / expand the frames once after login, (both chat and combatlog) frames settles 1-2 pixles below the edge. If I minimize the chat windows and log out, they re-appear "in the air" (way above the bottom border) next time I log in.

    Background panels uses:
    Parent/Anchored: ChatFrameX
    Anchor to: Middle

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    eePanel2_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function eePanel2_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      eePanel2:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight() + 16) --Note: The "+ 15" is to have a lil gap between panel side and actual text area. Same reason i have my BGPanel width set to 105%.
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    eePanel2_Hook:HookScript(ChatFrame2, "OnSizeChanged")

    Border panels:
    Parent/Anchored: eePanelX (the one above)
    Anchor to: Middle

    -- Create a new ace2 addon for hooking
    eePanel11_Hook = AceLibrary("AceAddon-2.0"):new("AceHook-2.1")

    -- Create a function to resize the eePanel when the hooked frame is resized
    function eePanel11_Hook:OnSizeChanged(frame, ...)
      eePanel11:SetHeight(frame:GetHeight()-3)
    end

    -- Hook to the frame we want to resize against (ChatFrame1 here)
    eePanel11_Hook:HookScript(eePanel2, "OnSizeChanged") --the eePanelX is the eepanel you want to spy

    Tried aligning by giving exact coordinates in assorted LUA and cache files, grabbing the frames with Visor etc etc, but to no avail. Can anyone figure this out? Could it be an MiniChat issue rather than eePanels? Or should I just reset affected panels, and reset chat settings and start over?

    Halp please :)

    I'm going to guess it's a detached FuBar panel, with just LocationFu (etc) on it?

    Actually no; it's the result of a "freak accident" sort of thing ;)
    Im using SimpleMinimap yes, and I grabbed the minimap with Visor. That apparently locks down the minimap in it self (if you unlock the map and try to move it after using Visor), but not the location frame.

    Love that UI! Especially the unit frames.
    How do you get the health/mana/...-numbers to change opacity?

    Thanks :)

    That would be OnScreenHealth standard settings http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=8027.0

    [Edit] Btw thank you all for the encouraging words, I'll probably pack up the UI later on this week or next, a bit too swamped to do it at the moment

    Obviously strongly influenced by Seato and Caith:

    BG: without damagemeters and Omen active http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1089/1392427910_6a45c50327_o.jpg

    Script support to automatically hide/show top sections in solo or party/raid mode (Eepanels2). Eepanels also expands/subtracts with Minichat (that pesky script is killing me, combat log just refuses to align after relog >.<) The 6 button bar in the lower middle of the screen is usually only active on mouse over. Some minor alignment tweaks to go and I think I'm done for now at least >.>

    Sorry for not answering earlier, finally got my vacation started so I could finish up the files ;)
    The 1280x1024 version is on it's way up on wowinterface.com as I write this (named "Acaciaizm"). Probably will take a few hours to validate etc etc.

    thx, can you post your widescreen (1680x1050) eePanels config?

    File updated to 1.1 (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7397-Acaciaizm.html, still under validation), now also including 1680x1050 WTF settings :)

    Also a slight break from the minimalistic :)

    And a 1280x1024 rework for some of my guildies:

    I'd also like this UI posted if possible, but if it's not, would it be possible for you to post larger pictures so we'd have something to work with to try and replicate it on our own? And your Pitbull.lua would be great!

    Pretty please? With a cherry on top? ;)
