    Any chance of a control panel or FuBar plugin to make adjusting the setting easier? I'm really dislike pure slash-command setups for anything beyond the simplest of mods (I'm a stickler for GUI)


    DeuceCommander works wonderfully with with DrDamage, if you not familiar it is a mod/fubar plugin that gives you drop down style menu's for most of your addons that dont have fubar plugins.

    there used to be an addon that displayed the count for your flashpowder / blind, in the bottomright corner of those buttons.
    it was pretty cool.
    sadly it did not get a 2.0 update yet.


    There is an addon called SpellMats that has bartender3 support that does just this. I dont know why its gone or where it went, you can find many mentions of it if you google search it, but the curse page is gone. The mod works perfectly http://elevendybillion.com/SpellMats.zip i zipped the 2.0.0.2 release from my addons directory.

    /sigh well it appears ive been chasing my tail from the beginning, i had taken the 128% pyro coef to heart believed it true and accepted it for some time. The math even appeared right with my theory of fire power talent being screwy. Turns out not a single post / discussion on damage coefficients i read really had any depth, and after a discussion on the wow forums i did some testing to determine the actual pyroblast coefficient. With 200 pyroblasts casted using 855+fire damage and no talents that changed pyro i had a range of 1693 1880.

    The direct damage portion of pyroblast is receiving 115% of your +damage gear/buffs etc by itself.
    Along with this it seems Fire Power works just fine normally with pyroblast.
    The DoT portion receives 20% and is effected by fire power and other end result damage increasing talents.
    I apologize for ever offering data that i did not 100% verify.

    it still applies, but only to base damage. Once pyro is made an exception i will change my pyro base numbers and then it should be 100% accurate.

    I should clarify the fire blast comment, the actual in game tooltip increased by almost 14% (no mods) when the 10% talent fire power was applied. Perhaps the small damage bonus you made mention of worked its way in some how. Now that DrDamage works on Beta, i can respec and test mage talents for 1 copper. So anything that needs tested i'd be glad to experiment.

    another issue with Fire Power, the spell Fire Blast is receiving nearly a 14% increase in base damage instead of 10%, this makes the tooltip off a bit. This is a bug, so im not sure its worth changing the mod.

    I did some extensive testing with a custom fire build of only fire power talent in regards to changing spell damage. It seems Fireball does indeed receive 10% increase to base and +damage however pyroblast does not, pyroblast receives the increase to the base damage only. This may be a bug or perhaps intentional. Im sorry for the confusion, i will be doing more testing later today on other fire talents. So based on the current version fireball is correct but pyroblast is not. I have reported this issue in beta and live realm bug forum.

    In WoW 2.03 i get the following error when attempting to mouseover a spell,
    DrDamage.lua:1187 Usage: GetSpellCritChanceFromIntellect("unit")

    Perhaps its just due to changes in an api. This happens on Test Realm as well as Beta Realms which are both currently WoW 2.03.

    Also thank you for the pyroblast update, there is still issues with how talents are calculated to average damage.

    Pyroblasts +damage calculations are now correct however the way talents are factored are still off.
    Currently it takes the base rank 8 values 708, 898 then adds (spelldamage*1.27) then takes that total *1.13 for the talents fire power (10%) and playing with fire (3%). However fire power is applied to the base damage of pyroblast and all fire spells, pre +damage. 778, 988 the new base values + (spelldamage*1.27)*1.03 gives the correct damage. With those talents. So is there a way to change the MageTable to have the addon read the tooltip instead of use the base values you have in the SpellData.lua since the default tooltip is updated when that the fire power talent is applied.

    I believe this mechanic is also true for arcane instability and piercing ice.

    Pyroblast is showing it has a 2.51 multiplier, while i wish this was true, it is not. Otherwise i enjoy this mod very much, thanks for the mod.
