    Change line 564 in Core.lua to:
    if tonumber(GetNumQuestLeaderBoards(index)) and GetNumQuestLeaderBoards(index) > 0 then
    ...that should do it.

    I can see you're running EQL3, which is overwriting the function on that line (GetNumQuestLeaderBoards) in a way that does not emulate the Blizzard API behavior. It returns nil instead of 0 when there are no objectives.

    @Kaz: Sorry for the delay responding, it's been a hectic month at work. I like the idea of a shared tab, and actually a 'missing' tab would be a nice addition as well. I'm constantly comparing my log with another to see what quests I'm missing when there's a 3rd+ member.

    As for the offline view, I'd thought about it before. I just have to make an interface to select the saved log, and an interface to tell JQuest to save it. The problem is that saved data could easily get out of date if you're not online and grouped for any quest changes. I thought about letting people add custom JQuest people (so you don't have to be grouped) but the whisper addon channel sucks if there are any issues. The core game will give you spam and it already affects JQuest.

    Either way, perhaps in the future, but for the time being I'm in maintenance mode only. I haven't had much time to code new features.

    Yeah I tossed that idea around before going public. There are 4 main things getting in the way:
    • I don't like to hook functions. I only do so when absolutely necessary. Using the built-in frame would require quite a list of hooks.
    • Other quest mods may hook in unexpected ways, and I'd have to work around any conflicts. While there aren't that many mods like JQuest, there are many mods that modify the quest log in some way.
    • Related to the last bullet, Blizzard's way of handling the quest log is just.. weird. You can't iterate through the quests without touching the UI. That means any time you're looking at a JQuest log, a quest update could potentially change what you're looking at. Very annoying.
    • I like to compare my quest log side-by-side with other JQuest users. It's doable of course, but I'm trying to keep the footprint as small as possible. This would add an entire frameset.
    I also know it's possible to hook into LH, using my own LH frame. Maybe someday in the future, but it would be a separate addon.

    The only way I could think to get support in was to force a detach. Because the LightHeaded frame is parented to the QuestLog Frame, it shows and hides with it, and if you want to use LH while looking at JQuests and not normal quests the frame has to be re-parented to UIParent and detached.

    I'm open to other ideas of how this could be accomplished.

    - Frame is now movable (hold shift)
    - Organized the options a bit
    - Added DewdropLib as X-Embed, so everyone has the right-click menu

    + FuBar support via http://files.wowace.com/JasonQuestFu/JasonQuestFu.zip

    I don't use FuBar, and I don't want to add the FuBar embed if it's not necessary, so it's a separate mod altogether. It'll destroy the existing Minimap button after it's created, and recreate a FuBar version. This is not the most efficient way but I have no plans to change it.

    Perhaps a beta page would have served you better, since it's not done, and obviously people would expect that URL to be production. I've read over this a couple of times now, and I have to say it looks mostly like constructive criticism and feedback--not *flames* from *idiots*.

    Anyway back on topic, I do like the change as it seems much faster. I imagine this has to do with my browser's rendering speed. Nice to hear A-Z sorting is being worked on, good stuff!

    No, I didn't post that, but they did put JASlaughter in the description text, which is plenty credit as far as I'm concerned.

    Regarding the 3rd party sites, I just haven't gotten around to posting it there. I think it's about ready. I haven't received any bug reports in a while...

    - Fixed Tab status indicators to properly display gray if incompatible version, and red only when there is no data
    - Selected quests should now be properly reselected after a scan (using GetQuestLogSelection() instead of QuestLogFrame.selectedButtonID which lags behind realtime)

    - Fixed issue with reward items sometimes not showing up--Required a COMM change so all users will need to upgrade (Sorry!)

    Basically, I was testing for GetItemInfo and only sending the IDs for rewards. I didn't realize GetItemInfo only returned info for locally cached items, so I had to start sending the full link from GetQuestLogItemLink() and doing a SetHyperlink() to cache it locally.

    Next revision will fix this. I actually tested it this time (in WSG, AV, and AB), but I don't have an arena team so couldn't test in arenas.

    I'm unable to commit at the moment though, seems dev.wowace.com is acting up.
