posted a message on Craft/EnchantList ignore list
    Hi, I'm CraftList's author.

There is not such a functionnality in CraftList. Maybe the CraftList you are using has been modified without warning me by some developper. Could you mail me the CraftList.lua file in your addon directory so that I can compare both versions ?

    Thanks

I do not feel like I have the time and motivation to build such a tool :/

    A great idea anyway...

CraftList works for gems, but GemList is a dedicated addon that is much more powerfull. You can search by color, link an item to see what gems you can put on, ...

Enchanting is not a craftwork like others, you don't craft items, you put enchants on them. So Blizzard choose to code it differently, and you can not call the same functions for enchanting and other craftworks.

Finally, GemList, EnchantList and CraftList are not coded by the same authors. It would be possible to make all addons in one, but I think we don't want to "steal" each other's work.

    > Can i disable certain crafts from replying ?
No, and it's not in the next todo list. If someone makes an easy-reading code for that, he can submit it to me by email, and I will integrate it to the main code.

    > Could CraftList be extended to include all saved professions data (not only that from the current char) when answering a query?
I coded a per character save on purpose, so that there is not to much answers. In the next version, I'll try to let the user choose between the two options (per char, or per realm).

    > could it be a way that CraftList could answer guild-channel query ?
It's not in the todo list at all ;). If someone makes an easy-reading code for that, he can submit it to me by email, and I will integrate it to the main code.

    > Can it respond to queries for stats?
No, the search is based on the item's name only. Anyway I will add this functionnality in the next version, with an option to enable/disable it.

    Thank you for your feedbacks.

You can use this thread to make feedback about CraftList.
I do not really intend to do much evolutions to this addon right now, but I will correct the bugs you could find.

Here's the description of this addon, based on Athou's EnchantList :
    http://www.wowace.com/wiki/CraftList

So I'm a leatherworker, a tailor, a cook, ... and like 15 times a day I get whisps from guildies: 'Hey what's needed for that craft again ?' 'Link me [item of da roxxor] plz' ...

This addon simply allows anyone to whisper you !craft <something> and get whispered back a list of crafts (craft links with reagents) you can make corresponding to <something>, ie:

    !craft boots

    !craft helm fel

Or any combination of partial search. It's a google-like search, looking for correspondance in the name of the craft.

All your crafts are autoscanned each time you open your crafts panels, even if your character does several craftworks. There is one different list saved for each of your character. You can hide queries and answers and define a locktime (for antispam) using /clist or /craftlist. Autoscan can be disabled, and a manual scan can be performed too.

It works for all craftworks except enchanting. I suggest you use EnchantList if so, and GemList if you are a jewelcrafter.

    I'm CraftList's author.

It works the same way as GemList or EnchantList, but for all crafts minus enchanting. It even works for cooking :P

You'll find more informations on the wiki page :

    What means "PT data" ?

posted a message on EnchantList - Allows everyone to check what enchants you can make
The last version of CraftList (WowAceUpdater or http://files.wowace.com) works fine :

    - Autoscan available for all crafts except enchanting
    - One list per character, including all crafts of this character
    - Searching by partial name of the items crafted (!craft helm)

Thanks again Athou for EnchantList :)

    Thanks Athou for this addon.

I modified it so it can be used with all other classic crafts : leatherworking, alchimy,... even cooking. It's quite finished and need more testing, but it works. You can do partial search with the name of the item to craft, or you can search by the kind of slot involved (boots, helm, ...). The answer is a list of wispers with the link to the item to craft, and the list of reagents
    Example :
    > /w Capoker !craft jungle

    > [Chapeau de jungle style] (6 Cuir granuleux lourd, 2 Ecailles de cobra, 8 Terre primordiale, 3 Fil runique)

I'm french, so is my example ;)

I'd like your authorization to upload this addon when finished on http://files.wowace.com, under the name CraftList, with the note : "Coded from Athou's EnchantList", or any other kind of note you'd like.
It's not as specialized as EnchantList, and I think EnchantList is a much better addon for this special craft, but my guild was in need of some polyvalent addon, with limited search options.

    I've got a problem with ClosetGnome_Zone

It seems this addon throws a system event ZONE_CHANGED_NEW_AREA every times you dispell your mount. It's very disturbing when you are catching this event for developping other addons :s

Could you check this and give me a feedback on it ? I just stopped using ClosetGnome_zone for a while.
