posted a message on Parrot 1.0
I've decided to switch from SCT to Parrot because I suspect it of being responsible for my fps slowdowns and hoped a more up-to-date mod would solve the issue.

Now, I'm looking for a way to shorten the display of incoming heals, which currently takes near half of my screen width. I've found the option to truncate the name of the ability, but what about the name of the healer? Is there a way to shorten it to, say, four letters? Also, I can't for the life of me find a way to remove or shorten the OVERHEAL tag. A simple (+500) or "OH" would suffice.

EDIT: One more thing: apparently turning on Parrot disables display of healing/damage in Eavesdrop. What's up witht hat?

Small cosmetic request for the proximity window: could you add a small resize button to it? Like the one Violation or Omen use, that is invisible unless you hover over it. Currently the window is unneccessarily wide. :)

the title bar still seems relatively large, but you finally fixed the 1 pixel wide gap the window had at the edge of the screen! :D

I believe the +damage coefficient from Shadow Ward is missing? Should be the same as for the mage equivalents.

Also, a way to enter manual values for haste would be appreciated. The mod already takes haste into account when calculating dps.

Just disable syncing. Violation is fairly accurate with the (extended) combat log alone.

On a sidenote, is it just me or does the window look different than before the patch? Something with the textures and/or title bar being bigger than it used to be. o_O

Yea, you're right. Just tested again and it works. I could have sworn earlier when swapping between red and orange I saw no change in hit rating. Oh well.

The mod doesn't seem to take into account the socket bonus on the warlock T6 gloves.

Socketing a red or orange gem has no effect on hit rating.

Tested on PTR; will try on live later.

Then it is a matter of what you define as "actively dpsing". Help me understand how your system works.

Let's say, as a destruction lock, I shoot 10 bolts at a mob, then stop to lifetap, run around or whatever. Does it calculate the dps I did while actively casting bolts at the mob, then takes a break until I start casting them again?

Another example, this time an affliction lock. 10 seconds of dotting up the mob and a few SB casts. After 10 seconds he stops actively doing dmg, but dots still tick, thus passively dpsing. How does Violation calculate this?

A minor issue that has been around in 2.0 already and still remains...
Centered icons aren't exactly dead center, but more like 5-10mm off to the side. Easily noticable for me since I have my actionbars right atop Fubar and the row of icons below is noticably misaligned.

There's an issue with the Vengeful Spirits during the Teron Gorefiend encounter. It seems the damage they do isn't attributed correctly.

We had one hunter that was in raid but offline for about an hour, yet he kept popping up on No.1 with about 1 million damage done. After removing the hunter from the raid, a greyed (as in not-in-raid) Vengeful Spirit entry took the place on the chart.

Similiarly, I've seen the damage attributed to a random warlock in the raid who himself wasn't controlling the ghost. It would seem as if the damage gets assigned to a random pet owner.

The config window obscures nearly the entire screen, cannot be moved off-screen to have a look at the changes made, and forgets the tree-structure every time it's closed.
