Queues Module - Line 119, please add

    if UnitIsAFK("player") then return end

    thx

    ..or i can later

Added this as well as a new option to the config to allow you to not join a bg if already in one. It is untested tho since I still dont know how to queue for 2 bg's at once..

Hi, just curious if this is working as intended, or a bug, but if I do /skillet standby, and then open my tradeskill window, i hear the noise of the window opening, but it doesn't open (which is what should happen), but then the blizzard tradeskill window doesn't open either.. Shouldn't it open if skillet is on standby?

    Hi there,

I was wondering if there is a way to assign custom colors to the bars? I've tried typing in hex, but it won't stick. ie. #fff, #ffffff, 006699, or any combination of hash/nohas/shorthand/dividers/etc...

    Am I missing something?

Stock blue, red, yellow, etc are fairly ugly on a custom interface. ;-)

Unfortunately this addon doesn't support hex colors.. Just the base 16 colors. I hope to find a way to support hex colors in the 'rewrite' that I eventually will do. Sorry.

Please give an option for automation to not join an new Battleground while in a Battleground.

    thanks

Could you provide a little clarification of the problem you are experiencing? To my knowledge, there is no way to be in a bg queue while you are actually inside of a bg. Is this not the case? If not, please tell me how to reproduce this, so I can investigate how to put in place what you are asking. Thanks

First I'd like to say that I really appreciate the updates to this addon.

Unfortunately my girlfriend and I both recently started noticing that our UIs freeze for around a second every time we get a delivery notification for some reason. Any idea why?

I havent been experiencing this. Can you list your addons and the specs for your computer (processor type/speed, internet connection speed, etc)?

hi, to get the german translation started (im bored atm)

i post the translations for first aid / smelting (because they are short ^^)
if you find typos you can have em ;)

and a question btw: why not make use of some sort of translation libraries like babble? (afaik those are translation libraries?)

    -- Smelting Recipes
    ["Earth Shatter"] = "Erdspaltung",
    ["Fire Sunder"] = "Feuerspaltung",

edit: damn - this forum seems to dislike the german umlauts - you know ... the a umlaut etc
    what could i do?
for the time being i'll write "AE" for the a umlaut and "UE" for the u umlaut (those with the 2 dots on top)

You could do what a lot of people do with \xxx .. I'm not sure where they find the xxx number tho for each character, but it must be documented somewhere.

    First thanks for informative response.

Yes i know for elkbuffbars but i didnt used to for over half a year. Reason is couse i have Buffalo addon that show my buffs dont know realy how would they interact. And elkbuffbars dont suit my UI organisation as i wrote before i would only exploit its debuff count.

Edit: bah anyway i just tinkered a lot with pitbulls debuff icons and found perfect solution. ^^

Edit2: this is stupid question that was prolly answered many times , but i want my bars to be one color ( lets say white in my case ) and not to change from green to red and as well how to change Font color ( if posible again ) since i guess it would be bad to read white letters on white background ^_^ . Is that posible and how to do it ?

    Thanks in advance.

Glad you found a solution with pitbull. I was going to say you could disable all of the buffs with EBB, but pitbull works as well hehe.

To make the bar one single color, you have to specify it twice in a row where you specify the colors, such as "white white". You specify the colors in the menu under Default Bar Settings > Colors.

The text has a bit of a shadow on it by default, and depending on which texture you use, the white won't be fully white, but like for me, it is white on top and fades to gray at the bottom:

Edit: There is no way to change the font stuff. It is all handled in the CandyBars addon. I haven't investigated how to change the font stuff thru the public interfaces yet, but I probably will.

It turns out it was my savedvariable file! I don't know how it happened, but if this is any clue, all of the skills that had the problem had this line in the savedvariable file "["start"] = 22562.118" I will let you know if I get any further problems, but so far everything is working perfect, thank you for the great support and the addon itself!

No problem. That might have happened if the game crashed one time while several skills were on CD. It records the start time for each skill, and normally it is set to 0, but if the game crashes, then when you go back in, the start value is whatever it was when you last used that skill. I don't get why it would cause the effect you were having though. One of those odd glitches due to a crash I suppose.. At any rate, glad you fixed it.

I have two questions for addon mod.

Are you considering making bars for tracking random procs with internal hiden cooldown ( like band of eternity , tome of fiery redemption and so on ). Like when you get some buff your cooldown bar is show and start to tick.

No, that is beyond the scope of this project.. It would require a complete rewrite and would need to support proc times that are not always documented by blizzard. Some of the items do say "this effect can only occur every x seconds" but others don't say that even tho it is true.

    Quote from StormScion »

Are you considering making bars that track your spell duration on enemy players ( i know this would be a bit away from "cooldown count" theme but would be very handy tracking player debuffs on target.

And finaly in case second question thing is out of question what other addon you guys suggest. I would love to keep cooldown count and get something that only and only track my debuffs and there duration on enemies.

Sorry couse of bad eng and thank you.

No problem on the bad english, it was good enough for me to understand (thanks for not using babelfish lol)

Unfortunately no, I have no plans to add debuff tracking for either yourself, or enemy players. Personally I use ElkBuffBars. It's small, fast, and highly configurable. You can track your own buffs and debuffs, as well as those of your target and others. You can find it on wowinterface, or here in WAU.

Could you please add something like vtrack.
I would love to see this build into simpleminimap because changing Colours an having the option to move it arround would be very nice.

Also could we have an option to change fonts? pulling them from the Sharedmedialib?

    thanks

Quokka, as stated earlier in the last page, this thread is no longer being used for feature additions. Nobody has picked up the mod officially, and the original developer has stopped writing on it. The only changes right now would be to fix bugs. Sorry to deliver the bad news to ya bud.

Few minor bugs. I'm using skillet now, instead of ATSW, as I always wanted a see-thru tradeskill window that had the same features of ATSW.. Now I got it. =D

The scroll up button is disabled, even after scrolling down.. I have to use the mouse to scroll up..

    ---

After closing the arl window, and then doing /arl guiscan again, I can't scroll at all, in either direction, even with the mouse, it looks like the window loses it's attachment after closing it (see next one as well)

    ---

If I open something up like the honor pane, the scan window attaches to that new pane, and I am able to move the arl window around again, as well as the text not staying attached to the window when I move it..

    ---

Once the window is movable, when I click one of the plus signs, the info for the recipe comes out, but it doesn't bump the text below it down.

    ---

Closing the tradeskill window should close the ARL window as well

    ---

Hitting escape to close the tradeskill window, should close the ARL window also

    ---

(not sure if it applies) Recipes that are difficult (meaning have to buy from neutral ah), or impossible to obtain for alliance/horde should either not show up if player is of that faction, or should at least be so noted.

    ---

Once when clicking the close button, the text disappeared, but not the window, and when I clicked it a 2nd time, I got:

    Message: ..\AddOns\AckisRecipeList\AckisRecipeList.lua line 3508:
attempt to index global 'AckisRecipeListFrameCloseButton' (a nil value)
    Debug:
    [C]: ?

    AckisRecipeList\AckisRecipeList.lua:3485
    AckisRecipeList\AckisRecipeList.lua:3560:
    AckisRecipeList\AckisRecipeList.lua:3560

To be more specific, I opened the BS tradeskill window, typed /arl guiscan, then clicked close, and that is what happened.

    ---------------

I can't think of anything else right now.. Sorry for the long list, and I know a lot of those may be related to using skillet..

I'm not sure a screenshot would help, but what is happening, is that when I use two abilities at nearly the same time, mainly when spamming buttons, I only see one of their cooldowns, whichever is the longer one. I believe what is happening is that one is covering up the other, they are not each going into their own bar. If I push the buttons only once each, I don't get this problem.

Ok, that helps a lot. Originally I was thinking you were saying that only one bar appeared (such as if you combined 2 cooldowns into a condense group), but now I get that you think the sort and collapse option may not be working as expected, even if disabled.. I'm trying to reproduce it now

Edit: Unfortunately I can't reproduce it.. Are you able to get it to happen at will, and with no mods but CDT running?

If yes, can you try to delete the CDT savedvariables (make a backup first), and then set it back up (without restoring those backed up savedvariables), and see if you can still reproduce it?

    Thanks

Well, I have discovered that the glitch (at least for me) only happens if I am attempting to cast a spell right as the cooldown is finishing..

Happens by spamming the keyboard button, or spamming the button with the mouse, if you hit it when the cooldown bar is right around zero, it screws up..

I have an idea of what is causing it, but I am not 100% sure..

Basically, the way the flash works is to increase the scale of the bar from whatever it is to 1.5 times the size (incrementally), and then shrink it again. I'm thinking that he probably didn't account for the cooldown finishing in the middle of that flash, and so it is deleting something that shouldn't be deleted, thus corrupting the memory for that session, which would explain the crash when i try to read that variable.... I can't promise a fix without completely redoing the way the flash works, but if I do have to redo the flash, I'll make sure to keep you informed (I'm thinking more of a glow effect would be better anyways, less intensive on the cpu for sure hehe).

Well, I found a way to fix the issue without having to redo everything, although it is ugly. Flash now works 100% of the time.
