I'm gussing the kind you boot off the floppy? You can boot off CDs too, have been able to for like 15 years. And thay make those cute tiny CD'Rs....

Better yet buy a cheap USB drive and use it to boot up the diagnostic tools.

I just actually did what you are asking.

I copied my WTF and Interface folders from my Laptop to my PC, my laptop is set to 1920X1200 and my desktop is set to 1680X1050

Completely forgot about the resolution issue and all my add-ons and the game resorted themselves to the desktops resolution :)

Has anyone noted that OmniCC doesn't display and update properly?

WUU says it's missing the TOC file even tho it's there in the folder.

Anyone else having an issue with skinner causing a total WoW crash?

I slowly enabled addons till I pinpointed skinner to be causing a read error and crashing wow to the desktop. This is with the latest revision.

*edit* Never mind, it's a problem with more than just Skinner, still trying to figure out the problem

I'm willing to bet that Aloft is the first place the AceEvent revision being used in game is called.

    The error is elsewhere.

Yes it is elsewhere but at least for now it doesn't increase at an exponential rate, will do more testing after work today.

I was confused too, since I was aware Aloft doesn't use soundfiles.

REv. 32600 I get this error, it happens at a fairly regular pace, and just keeps increasing.

    Quote from Cordelia »

This is actually a feature request:

I'd like to see a separate section for addons that are installed but that I want to exclude from the updating process for some reason (recently I had problems after updating an addon, the new version included screen aspect ratio adjustments but f....d up my configuration that worked fine for me, so I rolled back to an older, working version, and do not intend to update that add-on again. Okay, I know, I can untick its box, but it's too easy to forget about it, and update it again by mistake, and in the future there may be other add-ons that I want to exclude from the update process).

Or you can manually ignore a revision or two, and go back to using the addon once the issue is corrected, did you post a bug report in the addon's thread?
