posted a message on Is RegenFu inaccurate?
A number of hunters have used that to check of Aspect of the Viper gives the mp5 it is supposed to. And it doesn't. It seems to give about half what it's supposed to. And our base int is about half our total int. Thus it seems AotV only gives regen based on base int.

However, I'm wondering if RegenFu is accurate now. I justed tested takign off a 6mp5 armor item, and RegenFu only lowered by regen numbers by about 3. I notice that mana regen is every 2-3 seconds, not once every 5 seconds. Perhaps RegenFu is assuming mana only reegns once every 5 seconds, so it's reporting like half of what your true mp5 is?

Anyone else noticed issues like this? The simple test of removing an mp5 armor item and seeing my RegenFu mp5 drop by much less than expected sort of confirms it my mind.

Apologies, I found them. Bar1 was moved up under Action Bars instead of in the Bartender area.

For some reason in my Keybindings menu, there's no more Bartender Bar 1. Only bars 2-10 has keybindings available set.

posted a message on AGUF Party Pet frames
I saw a party pet today after upgrading! Wow! Yay!

However, still a bug in there. If 'aguf about' is right, I have version r25259. Bummer that all my settings were lost when I upgraded, but so be it.

I invited 3 hunters into my party. They all had pets out. Hunter #1 had Pet #1 showing right on the party pet frame. But the extra hunters were duplicated, instead of showing the pet. That is, in the party pet frame itself, pets #2 and #3 were exact duplicates of the Hunter #2 and #3 frames. If I changed a display setting for Party frames, those Pet #2 and Pet #3 slots changed too, even without changing the Party Pet frame settings.

So very close to working. :) A way to group them under the party member would be nice, but I can live with a seperate frame if needed be (once working).

    Thanks!

I've never used focus before, that's a nice trick. I'm using it for pet tanks for now until they appear correctly.

    Thanks.

I also have a priest that can't figure out how to get party pets to appear. The druid in my guild that turned me on to agUF said he had same problem, but gave up trying to figure it out.

We must all be doing the same thing wrong, or it's a bug. :) Do party pets appear for anyone? So far as I can tell, I have my party pets with same settings as my party bar. Also, 'hide frames' is not turned on.

I think i shouldve fixed that now. It should convert all old bindings, i hope.

Cool, thanks for looking at it again. :) I should have backed up my old variables file I guess but no worries. Rebinding them really isn't that much of a pain, only takes a minute or two. I just figured for all of the other people out there that use BT (gotta be thousands of them) it'd be nice if it magically converted and they never even notice.

They might be coming out of bindings-cache.wtf which has the keybindings all listed there, ala:

    bind SHIFT-Q CLICK BT3Button68:LeftButton
    bind SHIFT-E CLICK BT3Button69:LeftButton

As I no longer have a Bartender3.lua with keybindings I can't try to test/debug this further and must simply redo it all from scratch. It -almost- worked. It did convert them. They were visible. But they just didn't save when I logged out.

If keybindings are changed by an addon, and the player never goes into the keybindings menu himself to make any changes, is there something you have to do to tell WoW to expire the bindings-cache and re-save the bindings when the player logs out?

Anyway I've done what I can to help. :/

Well crap. No joy. So close.

I logged back into Gim, the one where I thought it worked fine. No keybindings, although keys were working. So I changed profile to Character:Gim (from class:hunter). This copied over all of his keybindings, were visible and working. I logged out, thinking it's save them as his new normal Blizzard keybindings. No joy. When I log back in, no bindings. And in fact, the Character:Gim ones are now deleted, so I can't do the profile swap trick any more (the pain).

I know ConvertBindings() is supposed to delete them after conversion, so that's not a bug. And now all keybindings within SavedVariables/Bartender3.lua are gone as expected, and there's nothing left to try and convert to the new system.

But you know the really really weird part? All my keys still work. Z is still bar 1 button 10... t is still bar 6 button 12... but it isn't coming from SavedVariables/Bartender3.lua!

    I'm going insane.

If it matters, I use "character specific keybindings" on Gim my hunter, but not on Hansa my priest.

    Looking at

    http://www.wowace.com/trac/changeset/22236

it seems you removed the called to ConvertBindings() at the same time you fixed a bug in the ConvertBindnigs() function itself. Was the removal of calling the function accidental?

Simply putting that back in seemed to do the trick. Tada! Or at least, for the most part. Some bit of weirdness on my priest (who is using a class:priest profile, but there's no keybindings set to that in Bartender3.lua in SavedVariables, yet the keys were all working and coming from someplace... I switched to Default which also had keybindings (and were in the Bartender3.lua SavedVariables), and those converted properly).

So anyway, my alts and my main either converted properly or close enough for government work (I'm lucky I set up a default template, and then copy that to each alt to customize for their specific class, so even the missing priest only actually had 2-3 keys to rebind by hand). I'm thinking the removal of ConvertBindnigs() in 22236 should be undone. :)

Nev, I figured I'd take a peek and see if I could debug why the bindings didn't convert. I see your ConvertBinding() function in core.lua, although I'm not sure if that was to convert to or from the blizzard bindings. Also I don't see ConvertBinding() called anyplace.

Will check the SVN provides diffs so I can find the actual code in question, then I'll put some hooks in to try to help debuf it. There must be tons of people out there it'd save time for besides me, so I'm willing to chip in if I can solve it for ya. :)

But, as of now, it should convert your old Bindings. Altho i am not 100% sure the conversion code will work for everyone.

Great, thanks. I'll try updating to the latest version again and cross my fingers, otherwise I'll rebind. :)

Alas, the conversion didn't work on my main or alts. The keys are still bound... I can press them and they work. But I can't see them on the bars, and they aren't set in the Blizzard interface.

I'll get to work rebinding this weekend to get it over with, but would you be willing to have the keybindings that were previously set still be visible if no Blizzard-based keybinding is set? Would make manual rebinding so much easier.

You need to bind your keys using the Blizzard Keybinding UI now, and they will show again.

    Oh :(

No way it can import it from the old system? :/ The bummer is that a few days ago I finally set up bars for all of my alts, which I'd been putting off after the 2.x patch and losing DAB. Happy with Bartender though. Just got a lot of alts lol.

I rolled back, 22154 is the newest version I think, with working visible keybindings. The Keybindings menus also appear in the bar dropdowns.
