Sep 24, 2007You idiots cry too much. I dont spend hours every day looking at this forum, and I dont plan to. If you know how my problem can get solved point me in the right direction instead of acting like pricks. Also this thread is no longer necessary now that I know of jira. Bite me.Posted in: FuBar AddOns
Sep 22, 2007Updates aren't going to be made to that version anymore. Eventually (tuesday) it could break with the patch and someone else will have to fix it. Getting changes made in the new version or alongside the new version (seperate addon) are the only options.Posted in: FuBar AddOns
Sep 22, 2007Could someone create this as a seperate plugin? Apparently rock doesn't have the ability to do dropdowns and I would definately like the ability to use dropdowns to make minor changes every once in a while.Posted in: Unit Frames

He actually sighed, just like I am doing, because we've got about 50 of these posts in several threads all over the forums
This is when you realize you may have made a mistake. Dont tell the users that they are wrong, give them options. Downgrading isn't a real option and you know it.

I would very much prefer it if the old right-click menus for configuring addons could be added to Rock and then leave the choice to users which route to use much as the Ace/Ace2 system had menus by default and then you could use DeuceCommander or Waterfall as per your preference.
The Rock config window is ugly (trivial but sets a poor impression) although functional but it makes the config process slower. For an example, if you started with an empty FuBar panel and wanted to select 10 new plugins to display on it, via the old Ace2 drop-down menu, you'd simply open the menu and then "tick-click" the ten plugins you wanted to be displayed.
Now, we have the Rock window, you locate the panel drop-down for selecting a plugin but now each time I select a plugin, the drop-down closes meaning it needs to be reopened and (assuming not all options fit in the space of the drop-down) re-scrolled to reach the same list point before continuing. Essentially, it's harder to use by a small but noticeable margin.
Sep 22, 2007OR if rock is some fundamental change that it cant be "disabled" why dont you just add a dropdown option that simulates how it used to work? All the fubar plugins still have working dropdowns, why is it so hard to add another?Posted in: FuBar AddOns
I dont need a place to see all the options at once. When I change something it is usually a tweak to just one of the plugins. I dont like scrolling through my list of ~30 fubar plugins just to find the one I want to change. Dont sigh just because someone's opinion doesn't match your own.
Sep 22, 2007I dont like this rock config window. Some menu items that expand will toggle every time you click it even though all I want to do is see the options for that item. This is very annoying to use.Posted in: FuBar AddOns
Why was the pitbull fubar icon removed when rock was added? There is no pitbull option to "unlock" everything on the rock config page. All in all i think this rock config window blows and you should not have released it so soon without adding the previous interface...
edited for meaning... I couldn't care less about which library you use, I hate the config window.
Sep 21, 2007_ForgeUser302825 posted a message on Quick question about PerformanceFu and CPU profilingWhen I enabled it I had OK frame rate but once per second it would pause for 5-10 frames. For the rest of each second I was still getting 40+ fps :P Unfortunately this wasn't very playable.Posted in: FuBar AddOns

bump, since my edit didn't do it. read post directly above this.
I found the issue. For some reason mangle base energy cost was set to 40 (which I checked earlier, and it seemed alright cause I forgot about Ferocity). This caused the calculated energy cost with Ferocity to be 35. Update and it should be OK (revision >= 46819). Good job with noticing this issue.
Awesome, its great that you're so responsive to issues like this. Thanks for keeping this mod so well maintained!

Hmm. Both are calculated in the exact same way from the Avg Total value. Check that value and divide it with the energy cost.
thats the problem, the DPE displayed by drdamage doesn't match the avg damage divided by energy cost. more later... in 6h or so i'll post some screenshots
edit: hello, sorry it took me a bit longer to get back to you. I just got my idol of wild so my mangle is better DPE than shred, but the tooltip is still incorrect, as far as i can tell. here is the screenshot:
Mangle shows 22.6 DPE, but (792/40) is 19.8. shred is correctly showing 19.2 DPE... is there something that i'm missing here?
another edit: my hit % in that image is so low because i was targetting an npc in honor hold, my hit vs lv 62 is 98.89%. dont think that matters
Aug 17, 2007The druid forums tell me that shred is my best damage per energy attack in cat form, but drdamage says that my mangle is better. I think drdamage is incorrect, or I'm missing something but here is why:Posted in: General AddOns
shred is 42 energy (with 2 talent points)
mangle is 40 energy
my shred avg damage is 800~ (calculated by drdamage)
my mangle is 750~ (i'm not at home right now so i dont have the exact numbers)
drdamage says that mangle's DPE is 20.5 (750/40 is actually 18.75) and shred's is 19 (correct calculation). Am I missing something here or is drdamage incorrect in mangle's calculation? Crit and hit are the same for both attacks. I can get screenshots later today if necessary.
