    Would it be possible/logical to turn the bulk of this addon, the internal tracking part, into some sort of library (correct term?) to plug into other addons and then have Scorchio be a simple front end? Maybe the library can track more debuffs than just Fire Vulnerability and Winter's Chill (and we should probably add Focus Magic for Arcane Magi) and become something useful for more classes. Then other addons can be made to use the library so we have more options as far as display. For instance, I use Pitbull and I can easily write up a DogTag to track Fire Vulnerability but the downside (and the reason I use Scorchio) is it won't track the time left if I wasn't the first to apply the debuff and if it were to support a library that can track this by parsing the combat log or syncing with others that problem is solved. I only play a mage so I can't think of other debuffs to track besides the three already mentioned but I'm sure at least a few other classes would like to track something (lock curses maybe?).

    posted a message on InfiniBar-2.0 - Official Thread
    I'm having trouble with the Infinibar Dogtags and the arithmetic operators. I'm using a macro for all my Mana Pots (I'm using one for all my Healthstones and one for all my Healing Pots too, and plan to do what I'm trying to do with Mana Pots with those macros once I get this to work). The macro is such:
    /use item:32948
    /use item:32783
    /use item:32903
    /use item:32902
    /use item:33935
    /use item:22832
    /use item:33093

    What I'm trying to do is put that on my bar and add a DogTag to the text fields that will tell me exactly how many mana pots I have all together (Super Mana Potion and Mana Potion Injector is all I care about -- the others are area specific mana pots that I put in for just in case). So, I made a hidden bar and put Super Mana Potions on one button and Mana Potion Injectors on the other and then on my main bar the dogtag I've been trying is this:
    [ItemCount("IBHidden_1") + ItemCount("IBHidden_2")]

    The problem is it is inconsistent on when it updates, meaning, if I take 5 SMPs out it might show 5, if I take out 20 Injectors it might update to 25, if I put the SMPs and Injectors back, it'll still say 25 and then if I pull them back out plus another 20 stack, it'll show 45. Now, if I change the DogTag to:
    [ItemCount("IBHidden_1") ItemCount("IBHidden_2")]

    it'll return what's expected and updates every time I move mana pots in and out of my bank. When I add in the + it's inconsistent. One option is to just use the second DogTag but I'd prefer it add them together. It's prettier. Is this a DogTag issue or an Infinibar issue?

    With the changes, you might want to consider tracking Winter's Chill too. That's an easy buff to keep stacked, though, but some magi might want to know what mobs have it stacked.

    Also, the ping seems broken, it shows name when i test (and the name just won't go away untill i ping the map outside of config) but when i ping it outside test no name shows (or does it only works for other ppls names?)

    The name stays put in the config so you can position it and mess with it. And yes, it only shows when other players ping.

    I have a feature request for Casterstats. It'd be nice if it could adjust the stats depending on buffs on you like Icy Veins, Heroism, Bloodlust, Berzerk, Combustion and Power Infusion.

    The math is pretty simple since all the multiplicative effects multiply with each other. Therefor if you have Icy Veins (or Power Infusion) and Heroism you have 20%*30%*Base Haste Percent(11.29% in my case) which would be 73.61%. :D Also, Combustion stacks and at one stack it adds 10% Fire crit and adds 10% for each stack (I'm not sure if it caps at 100% or if it can go higher to overcome things like Resil). If this could be added, that would be awesome.

    posted a message on Are DogTags too difficult? Help me make it better
    I tried using this DogTag in my CowTip:

    [if RaidGroup then (if HasAura("Arcane Intellect") or HasAura("Arcane Brilliance") then Icon("Interface\Icons\Spell_Holy_MagicalSentry", size=25) (AuraDuration("Arcane Intellect") AuraDuration("Arcane Brilliance")):FormatDuration " " end) (if HasAura("Dampen Magic") then Icon("Interface\Icons\Spell_Nature_AbolishMagic", size=25) AuraDuration("Dampen Magic"):FormatDuration elseif HasAura("Amplify Magic") then Icon("Interface\Icons\Spell_Holy_FlashHeal", size=25) AuraDuration("Amplify Magic"):FormatDuration end) end]

    The problem is when hovering over my Raid UFs it doesn't update properly for each player. It'll take a second to appear and sometimes will be wrong. Any suggestions?

    posted a message on Post useful/interesting DogTag-1.0 sequences here
    I posted a dogtag I made on the EJ forum to replace ControlFreak.

    http://elitistjerks.com/f32/t23615-dogtags_3_0_thread/p14/#post795871

    In case you don't want to go there to check it out:

    This is probably the largest DogTag posted in this thread. I wanted to replace a mod called ControlFreak because it's an eyesore in my rather uniform UI (love the mod and Tekkub, tho!). I started with the DogTag located in the first page of this thread(EDIT: of the EJ thread), so, credit to whoever wrote that since I didn't take note of who it was, but honestly, it's a whole new thing now.

    Let me explain what I was going for before I post it. I wanted something first, with all the features of the Control Freak frame. And then I wanted to add a new functionality and clean up others. The new function is that my DogTag will not only tell you if the target (of the DogTag not of your character -- I recommend throwing this in a Focus Frame) is damaged, but it'll tell you if it's DoT'd! Before with ControlFreak, I used DaHud to make a buff panel for my focus and set the maximum to 5. Then, if I saw a few debuffs in the frame I'd assume it's dotted up (sometimes I recognize the icons, too, I guess). But now, I don't have to do that.

    Anyway, here's the DogTag:
    [(if (MinRange >=30) and ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack and IsEnemy then
      "*"
    end)
    (if HasAura("Polymorph") and (AuraDuration("Polymorph") <= 5) and IsEnemy then
      ("Resheep NOW! " ((AuraDuration("Polymorph"):VeryShort) "s"):Paren):Yellow
    end)
    (if HasAura("Polymorph") and (AuraDuration("Polymorph") > 5) and (AuraDuration("Polymorph") <= 10) and IsEnemy then
      ("Breaking Soon! " ((AuraDuration("Polymorph"):VeryShort) "s"):Paren):Cyan
    end)
    (if HasAura("Polymorph") and (AuraDuration("Polymorph") > 10) and ~Dead and IsEnemy then
      ("Sheep Safe " ((AuraDuration("Polymorph"):VeryShort) "s"):Paren):Green
    end)
    (if HasAura("Polymorph") and ~Boolean(AuraDuration("Polymorph")) and ~Dead and IsEnemy then
      "Sheeped":Yellow
    end)
    (if ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack and IsEnemy and ~HasAura("Polymorph") and InCombat(unit="player") and ~Dead and (HasAura("Serpent Sting") or HasAura("Fireball") or HasAura("Pyroblast") or HasAura("Ignite") or HasAura("Moonfire") or HasAura("Insect Swarm") or HasAura("Rip") or HasAura("Rake") or HasAura("Lacerate") or HasAura("Seal of Vengeance") or HasAura("Shadow Word: Pain") or HasAura("Vampiric Touch") or HasAura("Devouring Plague") or HasAura("Starshards") or HasAura("Deadly Poison") or HasAura("Garrote") or HasAura("Rupture") or HasAura("Flame Shock") or HasAura("Rend") or HasAura("Deep Wound") or HasAura("Immolate") or HasAura("Corruption") or HasAura("Curse of Agony") or HasAura("Curse of Doom") or HasAura("Siphon Life") or HasAura("Seed of Corruption") or HasAura("Unstable Affliction")) then
      "DOT'd!":Red elseif ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack IsEnemy and ~HasAura("Polymorph") and InCombat(unit="player") and ~Dead and IsMaxHP then
      "Broken!":Red elseif ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack IsEnemy and ~HasAura("Polymorph") and InCombat(unit="player") and ~Dead and ~IsMaxHP then
      "Damaged!":Red
    end)
    (if ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack and ~IsUnit("player") and ~HasAura("Polymorph") and ~InCombat(unit="player") and IsEnemy and ~Dead then
      "Ready":Green
    end)
    (if ~Dead and (~((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) or ~CanAttack or ~IsEnemy) then
      "Invalid":Gray
    end)
    (if Dead and IsEnemy then
      "Dead":Gray
    end)
    (if (MinRange >=30) and ((CreatureType = "Beast") or (CreatureType = "Humanoid") or (CreatureType = "Critter")) and CanAttack and IsEnemy then
      "*"
    end)]

    I need someone to look this over and help test it out, though. I've tested everything but having another mage sheep my focus (in such a case it's supposed to display "Sheeped" in yellow) and all those DOTs. I've tested atleast Fireball and Ignite. Someone has to help me to see that I didn't forget any damage over time debuffs and that I didn't misspell any of them or add some that don't work for some reason or another.

    I've tested this baby in DaHud but I assume it'd work in Pitbull and some other addons that use the lib. Most likely not all since I was surprised that even DaHud accepted such a long DogTag...

    By the way, this took a few hours and alot of trial and error. I'm not a programmer and this is my first DogTag. If there are things that should be changed for this reason or that, let me know.

    Future PvP tweaked version will check for Ice Block, Divine Shield, Cyclone and the various druid forms that are immune to sheep, mounted on a flying mount or anything else that I can thing of that'd make someone Immune to Polymorph. I might also either make alternate versions for other CCs or make the DogTag universal. If anyone else wants to do any of that, feel free! Less work for me. ;)

    EDIT: I recommend using this DogTag in a text field for your focus with this macro:
    /cast [target=focus,exists,nodead,harm] Polymorph
    /stopmacro [target=focus,exists,nodead,harm]
    /cast [combat,harm,exists,nodead] Polymorph
    /focus [exists,harm,nodead] target
    /clearfocus [target=focus, dead]

    posted a message on MagicMarker - Raid Icon Marking made simple
    Quote from NeoTron »

    This weekend I'll try to add support for having preset data. Problem is, of course, that there's no accounting for taste. For example my ZA settings are geared for a speed clear where we really use very minimal crowd control. Still, perhaps a better way to go is to allow another addon to inject data - that way someone could provide a MagicMarker_Raids type addon with presets. I'll ponder it for a while.

    I see what you mean but that's actually want I wanted the settings for. I want to shave some time off of my timed loot events for that stupid bear.

    If you use fubar, download BattlegroundFu. Then detach the tooltip and move it to a nice spot on your screen and then right click and disable all the information that you don't care to see. You can have it just display how many Horde and Alliance are in the BG or have it also display other useful info like how many KBs you have, or who has the flag, or what bases your team has or what rank you are in the BG.

    Your last post seemed a bit rude. You might want to sound less rude when making requests. But who am I?

    I tried ZOMG and I went back too. I really can't leave SB behind till I find something that does almost everything it does. I especially like that it'll apply my weapon buffs and food buffs and is easy to configure. Having it buff others is also a must for me. I'm too spoiled from Smartbuff now to ever go back to vanilla buffing.
