posted a message on Pitbull text anchoring issues
I was wondering if there's any other way to anchor texts (using dogtag) without anchoring them to the few mandatory frames and their surroundings (top, bottom, top-left etc). I had something more precise in mind, possibly placing them at a certain x, y coordinate or postioning them with offsets, so i can nudge them to where I want them to show.

Anyone know of a good replacement for visor2 then? That is able to hide/move/adjust almost all the frames/UI elements you have on the screen?

Err, you might want to try using this addon together with cooldown count. It shows the cooldown on the icon for debuffs on target, and often tends to bug and show cooldown on the icon for your own buffs. Sometimes it even shows wrong cooldown. Aside from that, it would be greatly appriciated if we could remove the timers and the shortcut on buffs. When we raid, and have mobs with 40 debuffs, its not good to have shortcuts or having timers on some debuffs on the target.

Well, it was just a suggestion :p Thought this was the forum for it, might have been wrong though. If i knew how to code Lua, I wouldn't be asking others to do it, but I dont. As for Massframes, it went unsupported upon release, with no new version of it comming out. So doubt it'll work very well with 2.0.1.

I was wondering why noone had bothered to do a more configurable ace2 unitframe addon, or maybe I have not looked enough for one yet.  I think some might suggest me to use ag_uf, but that's not what I call configurable at all. More like a flashy ui with different templates you can choose between, and not even working portraits or basic stuff like changing fonts/fontsize, aura placements, show/hide more than just some preset elements of the frames. I was thinking somethig in line with Discord Unitframes but ace2:ed. I know DUF is a memory monster, so it would be a challenge to make something equivalent, but I haven't seen anyone try yet. I'm not asking for all of DUF's abilities, with scripts and stuff like that. Just alot more configurability than what ag_uf can provide at the moment, in terms of layout, configurability of each frame in terms of strata, texturing, inverted bars etc, things like that.

Just looking at massframes, which is a modified ag_uf unitframe, there's some really basic options which aguf lacks. Why hasn't anyone bothered adding in things like this into ag_uf?

Something like massframes and mixing in something like eePanels into the same addon, with a few more options would be such a nice unitframe to have, instead of getting the monsterpackage DUF is, and the upcomming DUB most likely will be when TBC arrives.

I realize that ag_uf most likely aims to be a small and more lightweight unitframes addon, but very few features has been added into the addon since quite some time back, and there's those of us who want more configurability from our unitframe than it can offer, so we're stuck with duf.
