Thanks Dridzt your post has provided me with useful information rather then a pointless one line sentence that tells me nothing. I have been doing some reading about the public folder in the mean time to try and figure out why wow wanted to be installed there and it seems that installing wow there puts it at great security risk as that folder is shared amongst the user accounts on the computer and other computers on the network.

In the mean time the prat bar has appeared out of know where so that is at least one thing, but I have discovered omen is missing (I did't have omen loaded before so didnt notice it).

You shouldn't install WoW to Program Files directory on Vista.

You going to elaborate on that or just post something completely useless and unhelpful.

So I got Wrath last night. I installed it and got a pop up message saying would I like to move wrath from program files into a public folder because patching can sometimes run into problems if its trying to patch wow in program files (running vista 64 ultimate).

Foolishly I said yes (I thought it would move it back to program files once it was done but it did not). I tried to cut and paste it (the wow folder) from the public folder back into program files but when I went to patch wow again (3.0.1-3.0.2) the patcher said it could not find wow.exe.

I then moved wow back to the public folder and tried to patch again, this time I got an error message saying my wow folder was severely corrupted and I needed to repair it. So I let the wow repair tool run and continued to patch wow all the way back to 3.0.3 once it was done.

When I finally loaded into wow all my addon's had lost their settings so I just grind and bore it and decided that I would reinstall wow from scrath in the morning once I had finished.

I removed wow via add and remove programs and checked the public folder and it was gone and all that was to be found in program files was the addon folder, WTF folder and game screen shot folder. I decided to delete the whole wow folder as there was nothing of great value in there. I then procedded to reinstall wow from scrath back into program files and when asked if I wanted to put wow in the public folder I said no (like I should of when asked the first time) and patched it back to 3.0.3.

I then went to redownload my addon's via the curse client. I opend the client and get a message that it can't find (or similar meaning) the publich folder that wow was installed to. I changed the wow directory back to program file and selected all my addon's it had still listed and choose update/reinstall. Curse then tried to install the addon's but failed because of bad install path (or similar meaning). I gathered that it was trying to install the addon's into the public folder which no longer exsisted so I closed curse and opened it back up again. This time I got a message that it could not find the AddOns folder inside the interface folder. I then created an AddOns folder inside the interface folder, exited curse and opened it back up again.

I once again selected all my addon's and choose update/reinstall and this time curse proccedded to install all my addon's again.

However, once I loaded into wow and sorted my addon's out I noticed a few of them were no longer working properly (I also noticed my keybinds were still inplace which I thought as odd because I knew wow now stores macro's server side but didn't think it stored keybinds as well). By not working properly I mean things like prat not showing its fortress bar (it is enabled in fortress and I have moved all my frames around and hidden all my action bars and found one addon hidding under there but part is no where to be found). Also Mendeleev no longer appears in the blizzard addon configuration menu but it is active and working via tooltips and /commands.

Can anyone shed some light onto this. I have tried searching for another directory that blizzard may be using to hid config files but seeing as this is a clean install they (any hidden folders with configs or some such) should have been removed. I have tried to reinstall the addons using the curse client (right clicking reinstall addon) but that has done nothing to bring prat bar back and mendeleev to the addon menu.

Edit: ZOMG buff's is also not showing up in fortress but it working other wise.

I would love for the curse client to remove addon's I have installed from the find addon page or noticeable mark them (high light them green for instance) so I can easily see which addon's I have installed and what one's I don't. Both WAU and jWOW had this feature and I sorely miss it.

The mouse over friends list/guild members list will work once and then when you mouse over again it will not appear (no error's in bugsack).
    F2B v1.0.2

Mouse over is working correctly now. Thanks for the fix.

Maybe points should be allocated using statistics from the CurseClient since it can easily test which add-ons are actually installed and enabled.

How can it test which addon's are enabled? If you are referring to the curse profiler I have that uninstalled and disabled from ever being installed and I know I am not the only one so that method wouldn't work either.

Just updated prat and the time stamps appeared to freak out. It keep scrolling numbers really fast for what I can only assume were milliseconds. I choose 12 hr HH:MM format from the drop box and that didn't fix it either did a /reloadui so I have had to disable time stamps for now.

Like I said, it works fine unless I try to change the timestamp format, which is the error I am reporting to you. The default setting of [%X] works fine. Changing the format to anything else, such as [%r], causes the error.

I was only reporting it because you said you are nearing the official release and wanted bugs reported. Being unable to use a 12 hour timestamp is annoying because I don't like 24 hour timestamps.

I have this very same problem.

I have two problems with Prat atm. First is when I recipe a new PM the tab name tag no longer reveals itself and flashs/pulses.

Second, I started a new toon today and set up a PM tab for him but every time I receive a new PM I am unable to find any of the other tabs I have created (mousing over where they should be doesnt reveal them nore does clicking where they should be either) and I can only click on the general and combat tabs (the two default tab's).

The AI display is only virtual. Same goes for most other bag mods if you are displaying by category.

Do you know of any addon out there that can do what I want and could AI be made to do this?

    You can't.

    Which addon is it?
    What doesn't work?
Which version of F2B are you using?

I thought the whole point of LBD was that I got to choose how I wanted my addons to be displayed so if I don't want my addon displayed in fortress but on the mini map shouldn't I be able to have that choice?

I installed F2B so I could get Cart3 way points to work without having to install fubar but now an addon that was working via its mini map icon is now displaying in fortress. This wouldn't be a problem except that it doesn't work while being in fortress so how do i get it to go back to being on the mini map?
