    Quote from Sekuyo »

http://code.google.com/p/sekuyo-wow/wiki/Cartographer_NoteTarget is a wiki page with documentation for Cartographer_NoteTarget. No macros involved since the only thing it does is create a note at your location for whatever is your current target.

I set it so I could place it on a button and click the button on the fly, with out having to type anything. So, I don't remember the slash command for it because I do not use the slash command is what I was saying.

Not sure if this will help or not, but here is some screenshots.

First is what my Hotspot looks like when I mouse over the Hotspot button:

These next 3 are my actual settings in Cart, I use the latest Cart and update regularly:

    Hope this helps,
    :)

I use Cart Quicknotes, for fast noting. /pnote x,y for purple notes, /rnote x,y or /ynote x,y and I also use Cart NoteTarget as well but it is set up as macro and I don not remember the slash for it.

Just a suggestion, because the arrow works fine for me, but have you tried changing the size of the arrow to large just to see if it is visible in that mode?

    Maybe, :)

Well, I found out a long time ago that one reason Hotspot does not work out of the box is because one of the sliders is buggy ( can not remember which one and I am at work, it is either resolution or transparency. There is two of them ).
If you reload Hotspot, you will get errors, but go into Hotspots setup and set the sliders to max and reload, it will be corrected after that. Or at least it did for me.
Since I did that I have used Hotspot with no problems at all, and I personally love it.

Or even open map and click the big button that says Cartographer at the top of the map. Maybe, works for me anyway...:)

posted a message on Extremely long log out/ exit times?
Yeah, I use several large DBases, but I have been running the same ones for awhile and this just started. My Dbases that are large are: Cart Objectives, auctioneeradv, and WoWKB.

I will disable them and test again just to be double sure, maybe the combination of Cart QuestObjective and all the others is it.

    Thanks for the reply.

posted a message on Extremely long log out/ exit times?
    Hello,

Has anyone else experienced an increase in their log out times?

I have disabled all addons, and loaded addons individually to try to track down what is causing this.
My log out times are fine until I get any of the Rock addons loaded ( Cart, Parrot, Cowtip and Pitbull ).
My computer runs fine, no problems in game, it just takes a long time to log out of game.
And while this is small problem, I ask because it may be something simple that I am over looking on my end and it is frustrating as hell to try to log out quickly so that I can get my main to kill some sorry gankers before they run off.

And I love these mods to much to stop using them, so if I have to live with OK, I am fine with that to.

Have you looked on Jira to see if it is reported, if so what the status of the report is, that is where the author requested bug reports be made.

I don't have a program besides notepad that can read .lua files so I can't see what line is 428, what program do you use?

I personally use SCiTe LUA to hack things up with. :)

Huge problem with the latest pitbull:

    Interface\AddOns\PitBull\libs\LibDogTag-2.0\LibDogTag-2.0.lua:428:unexpected symbol near '['

its completely disabling the pitbull raid frames. I've tried downloading the newest dogtag2.0 from the SVN but this hasn't fixed the error either.

You can go into the lua and add L to the front of the 5 lines or so starting at line 428, they are missing. That is what I did until a fix is up on WAU.

I really like the way QuestFu uses Parrot to display party objective and quest completion.

Are there any plans to make it so that the player announce also uses Parrot?

DOH - that was my bad, I download all AddOns to the same 'temp' folder before integrating them into my AddOns folder, and I think I unzipped your version but then copied over the unmodified version. <-- Noob :)

Both alarms of your version are working perfectly, both text and audible bell - thank you much for the /assist!

    Your welcome.

Now, would someone please pick this mod up and perfect it and put iot up on WAU......PLEASE.

posted a message on Cartographer Herb/Mining: Still no new nodes recording
I stopped using the Cart mining and herb modules and went back to gatherer because of this issue(Plus I like the range and fade options with Gatherer).

It is something with Cart Notes, without Cart Notes enabled, Gatherer will place nodes fine but when I enable Cart Notes I have to spam click a new node/herb before I mine/pick it in order to get it to record.

But, I would rather have to spam click new nodes( I have the DB, so new nodes are rare ) and have my Cart Notes enabled, for Quest and Quest Objectives, than do without.

hmmm, that's weird. I use my hacked version almost daily, and never have an issue with it. In fact, I used it earlier today to warn me wife was nearly home...:)

I will zip it up again and attach it to another message, maybe bad zip or something, I really don't know.
Maybe more than you want to do for a mod this simple, but you might try to disable some mods and see which one might be conflicting.

EDIT: here is the folder zipped direct from my addons folder.

For your info, here is the changes I made to make it work:

    lines 588 - 605

-- Event handler for AlarmClockFu_AlarmTrigger event
-- for some reason the self variable is not available here
--function AlarmClockFu:AlarmClockTrigger() (Commented out by Wiltock)

    --end(Commented out by Wiltock)
