Parrot hasn't been getting much love lately, but the reason is that nearly all of the code is going to be replaced soon. Parsing issues (like buggy pet damage) will disappear in 2.4 as the new combat log goes into effect, and the display problems/requests will be taken care of with the next version of Parrot using DogTag for its text display. Obviously this takes a lot of work, though, so ck doesn't have time to work on the minor glitches in the current version of Parrot at the same time he's rewriting it. I promise the 2.4 version will kick butt, though. :)

Is this version of Parrot released on WoWInterface (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8402-Parrot.html) the 2.4 version?

Why oh Why... Branch the working TinyTip or something :(

My thoughts exactly. I reverted. I'm curious to see how Thrae's new TinyTip will work - once these other modules that aren't apparently currently available come about - but I've been extremely happy with my TinyTip setup and want to maintain the status quo.

ck, would you add options to change the color of the border of the minimap? Ideally, I'd like to be able to get just a very thin untextured black surround, like I can currently easily do with Squeenix.

You can Add people to the last attendance set already, that's been in NRT for ages. Look a little closer at the menu.

Beyond that (just adding, last attendance set), not currently to my knowledge.

I know, I'm just saying that maybe Sunmotes will be more common? We don't really know yet where they will drop or how you can acquire them, do we? Not that I've checked.

They drop from trash mobs in the Sunwell Plateau instance.

They seem, currently, to be around the same drop rate as earlier BT Heart of Darkness drops, pre-nerfage/reduction. No clue if it's that high because it's PTR or not.

According to wowhead (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34664), Sunmotes seem to be blue quality, which seems to indicate they'll be fairly common.

Still think I should add it as a special item? I don't think so.

Hearts of Darkness are Blue items. Marks of Illidari are Green.

Rabbit, one additional thing - can we get the popup to display the itemlink, or at least the name, of the item when it asks for Note input? It's not necessarily altogether helpful when a note is asked for "30926" (that's a random example, I've no idea what item that might actually be) when something is looted. This is particularly confusing when multiple things are looted quickly after another.

Rabbit, please go ahead and add Sunmotes (34664) to the special items listing to be tracked?

NRT now uses the game time for all timestamps, thank you.

Thanks a ton for this and all the other changes.

One note, NRT seems to be using game time for time, but client time for date. I entered a raid last night that was like 12:14 a.m. my time zone, 11:14 p.m. server time, but it showed up as being Feb 6th rather than Feb 5th.

If someone who is in the raid, in one of the groups that is being tracked for attendance, sends a tell in for attendance, NRT will inform them (3 times) that they're "not in the guild, group or whitelist."

They get attendance, for being in the raid . . . but the message is wrong, and weird. Also not necessary to be done 3x.

Have it tell them "You're in the raid and you already get attendance, you don't have to send tells, dimwit" or something if necessary.

Actually, one other thing that would be super nice to have, is an ability in NRT to specify whether or not to use local system time or server time for the timestamps. Another approach would be to be able to set a time offset. I don't know which would be easier to implement.

If you're curious why, we've got more than 1 person who take attendance, and sometimes it's not the same person taking attendance all raid long (if they're sitting out for a specific boss, for example) and we've got folks in at least 3 different timezones.

Hell, I'd even settle for it just to be hard-set to using server time. That'd work, all I want is consistency, so it doesn't look like (until it's manually edited to be fixed) like we killed Archimonde before Azgalor.

How about an option to customize/specify the attendance message then? Variable that's stored in SavedVariables, with a default it falls back to (current message) if something's not specified otherwise. Something just like the part where a custom channel for messages is specified.

I've made it so that whispers sent by NRT during attendance taking are hidden from the user now, and changed some of the whispers a bit.

Let me know if you still need this option.

After testing it tonight, yes, please. First attendance right off the bat, got whispered from people on alts whose mains were offline but in the raid group (and thus tracked for attendance). Being able to customize to allow some specificity would be extremely useful.
