    posted a message on Top and Bottom Frames
    i use eePanels for that exact purpose myself, its a fantastically simple to use addon, very well done and ild highly recommend it
    electro and xart both add actually "art" to the area and are also very nice, of the 2, ild recommend electro as, iirc, it allows you to specify your own textures via commands rather than hard-coding with xart.
    cheers

    posted a message on Combining party frames with party pet frames
    Party Frames and Party Pet Frames are individual of each other last i knew (havent logged since lastest revision lol but were as of last night)
    arrange each group individually by setting Growth Direction, Spacing etc
    to help you out you can check the Show Anchor button to see where things are "growing" from

    to remove the spacing between Party Frames, simply go to Party Frames and lower the padding or spacing between each frame, setting it to 0 will align the frames touching one another.
    personally, i have my party frames expanding to the right with the pet frames doing the same but located just beneath them so they line up properly.
    depending on your layout and configuration of each it may take some playing to get the numbers right.

    as for buffs on pet frames, never bothered to turn them on so no clue on that, its possible that the specific frame layout youre using doesnt have those coded in the frame tags?

    cheers and good luck

    http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5608
    seems to be the most/only maintained version of lootlink atm
    and for some reason, my tradeskill frames arent being skinned. (im using drag queen, perhpas thats the problem? though everything else skins nicely cept the ah, though i havent checked the AH since latest revision) just checked AH, it skinned properly now with latest revision :)

    also would like to request skinning of Rophy's MCP

    thanks for your hard work

    yeah, most of our "mis-clicks" came in the revision leading up to that.
    as i can see it now, the only way to completely purge bad entires is to have everyone reset their DB's to default individually, would be nice to have a mass reset or mass remove type function built in :)

    requesting some sort of admin control for the sharing channel
    example:
    my guild has recently become involved in all out war on our pvp server (shocking i know lol)
    so ive got tons of guildies downloading and loving this addon, however a large number of them are new to using addons and thusly we have people adding our own guild to the KoS, adding friendlies to KoS, hostiles to the Friendly list.
    what i'ld like is a way for someone (guild leader, pvp leader etc) to have an admin password to be able to mass delete or mass edit everyones database.
    currently im able to remove the "bad adds" from my database but they get re-added when someone broadcasts and i have to do it all again.
    it would be nice to be able to have certain people (those with the password etc) to be able to clean, maintain, manage the guild-wide list of enemies and friendlies.
    aside from that, this addon rocks and im loving it (as are all my guildies, hence the issues above LOL)
    cheers on some nice work :)

    posted a message on ColaLight - Adds value to your tool tip (and ColaMachine)
    forgive my noobness on this one, but im trying to get my guild into using datasharing mods, such as this one, i've got ColaMachine set to use the built-in addon channel but am having trouble adding my guild as trusted members.
    ive tried every variant of /cl colamachine trust <<guild>> | <guild> | guild etc to no avail
    i made a seperate chattab for addon msgs and am seeing the broadcasts from what looks like cartographer there but when i try to enter /cl commands i get a print error, it refferences some other addons and framexml, could one of those be the problem?
    here's the bugsack code from /cl colamachine list
    [2007/02/10 20:11:31-1345-x1]: ColaMachine-1.1\Core.lua:225: attempt to call method 'Print' (a nil value)

    <string>:"ChatFrameEditBox:OnEnterPressed":2: in function <[string "ChatFrameEditBox:OnEnterPressed"]:1>

     ---

    i see it references lootlink in the error, could that be the problem? using latest revision of course

    edit:
    im now seeing the addon msgs in the addon channel with [VendorValueSync]data[Guild][CharName]
    so it seems the messages are being sent to the guild channel, but im still not sure if i have anyone in my "trust" list
    on the upside at least i got the addon channel working ok lol

    @lacindas: Frame names should be fine. Actually the reason why there is currently no proper cycircled support is, that sometimes the popup buttons won't keep the circled layout, as some might have seen weeks ago with the BorderFrame, which popped up once in awhile and stayed. No idea why and no eta on that.

    still been fiddling around with the code a bit trying to get that to work, to no avail im sorry to say, any chance of a temp skin for just the 4 main button frames?
    in the meantime, ill keep digging at whatever is causing my error. thank you for your response
    great mod, all my shamans use it now :)

    posted a message on Yata (not an official thread)
    ive been working on a plugin for cyCircled for Yata and cant seem to get it working, i grabbed the fram names via Vizor2GUI, any chance i could have grabbed the wrong frames?
    you can see the plugin code i came up with in the cyCircled thread http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=2746.280
    was thinking maybe having the incorrect framenames was what was triggering my cyCircled error.
    thanks for any help ;)
    cheers on a kickass totem mod (all my guild's shamans are using it now hehe)

    posted a message on cyCircled - Circled buttons for more than just BT2
    i also use the Onyx skin and have been looking/hoping to get Yata skinned.
    bear with me, its been ages since i wrote code but this is what i came up with, its essentially a hackjob of the trinketmenu plugin

    plugins/Yata.lua
    local addonName = "Yata"

    cyCircled_Yata = cyCircled:NewModule(addonName)

    function cyCircled_Yata:AddonLoaded(addon)
    	self.db = cyCircled:AcquireDBNamespace(addonName)
    	cyCircled:RegisterDefaults(addonName, "profile", {
    		["Main"] = true,
    		["Menu"] = true,
    	})

    	self:SetupElements()
    end

    function cyCircled_Yata:GetElements()
    	return {
    		["Main"] = true,
    		["Menu"] = true,
    	}
    end

    function cyCircled_Yata:SetupElements()
    	self.elements = {
    		["Main"] = {
    			args = {
    				button = { width = 35, height = 35, },
    				hotkey = false,
    				count = false,
    				eborder = false,
    				ft = false,
    			},
    			elements = {
    				"YATABUTTONEARTHCONTROL1",
    				"YATABUTTONAIRCONTROL2",
    				"YATABUTTONWATERCONTROL3",
    				"YATABUTTONFIRECONTROL4",
    			},
    		},
    		["Menu"] = {
    			args = {
    				button = { width = 35, height = 35, },
    				hotkey = false,
    				count = false,
    				eborder = false,
    				ft = false,
    			},
    			elements = {},
    		},
    	}
    end

    now, here's the weird thing, well, first off, it doesnt work, so dont C+P this :-P
    when i dont change the FrameNames in elements() cyCircled lists Yata as a plugin in the menu, just not skinned (since the elements are incorrect) when i change them to the ones listed (the 4 main yata buttons, i got the frame names via Vizor2's GUI Frame-Grabber, im not concerned with the pop-ups yet/if at all) i get the following error on logging in.

    BugSack Error:
    [2007/02/02 12:36:37-1314-x1]: cyCircled-0.2\core.lua:291: attempt to call method 'GetCheckedTexture' (a nil value)
    <in C code>: ?
    AceEvent-2.0-25921 (Ace2):427: in function <Interface\AddOns\Ace2\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:403>

     ---

    any clues or ideas on where i'm going wrong?
    cheers :)

    @ the above, looks like the chatframes themselves are skinned as well giving it that double-layer texture look

    request: skin for ACP (syl's branch of MCP)
