Sorry for the issues when in a raid. Adding pet support seem to have broken the roster functions. I just updated Squishy to 1.11 and fixed the roster troubles related to pets and raids, and even though I didn't run a 40man raid yet at least Squishy does work for my lvl11 hunter in a party and also for my main toon in a 10man raid.

I'm unsure if raid pets show up in the emergency monitor though, at least your own pet will show.

Latest SVN version, I can't even get Squishy to show the frame.

Hrm. You did enable solo mode, or were grouped at that point? If yes, did that only happen after enabling pet support?

get the latest SVN version - pet support now working. At least it worked for the hunter I created today, didn't check in raid situations yet ;)

SaberHawke, I agree SVN isn't very intuitive. But wowace.com is a development site, not another wowi/curse/... database, so ideally everyone here is even able to debug code others have written. Yeah, I'm talking about a perfect world ;)

Guys, read my signature. Then click the link. Then read more. Then launch your svn client, connect to the wowace svn server, browse to /trunk/Squishy and export that directory. That's all you need to do. It's not that difficult...

"has been bugging you" - any specific problems, any bugs?

Basically without solo mode enabled the Squishy frame will only be displayed and active when in a party/raid. But if you prefer to use Squishy to replace the player frame, or because you're using a healing macro that relies on Squishy, enabling solo mode is your choice. In that case the frame will be shown even if you're soloing.

Yeah, it has been suggested (see developer-todo.txt in the addons folder), and once the frames auto-adjust depending on needs I will probably add this. Still need to completely understand how that can be done in lua. Probably I'll first try to fix all the bugs though...

    uploaded v0.6.

    changes:
    - added bar texture options
    - pet support (needs testing, disabled by default)
    - dewdrop now with scaling and bar texture options
    - fixed options bug

as for the pet support: it won't work unless you try to debug it. Right now if you enable it the Squishy frame will disappear - for the following reason: due to server lag the roster data isn't always correct. Squishy therefor regularly checks if the server and client data match (e.g. number of people in the roster,...), and if they don't, it hides the frame and schedules another roster update.

For some reason right now the roster data doesn't match with the server data once you have a pet (probably same for party/raidpets). It's probably only a small mistake, but until I've managed to level my hunter to 10 (just hit rank5), I can't debug it myself. But if you can, take a look at roster.lua, mainly the function UpdateRoster().

JoshBorke, I guess I just added CastParty support to Squishy, please give it a try. If it doesnt work, take a look at lines 87-88 and 431-454 in core.lua.

    yup:
    /script Squishy:TargetSquishyUnitByPriority(priority, idreturn)

    e.g. /script Squishy:TargetSquishyUnitByPriority(1)
will target the unit with higest priority. But if you prefer having the addon return something like "raid 32" to your script, set the idreturn to true. Probably you won't need that though ;)

Lodoran, you're right. You'll see the H if someone in your raid/party is in the process of healing that person (aka they started casting shortly ago but the spell hasnt landed yet), and A if that person has aggro. Besides that, there aren't any indicators on the left side. As for the right side: white = you, blue = party, red = unit with highest priority.

Oh, and the bar colors: full health = green, 1% life remaining: red. Inbetween: yellowish.

Firiel, please download Squishy with a SVN client, *not* your webbrowser. Downloading it via webbrowser *will not work*, as stated several times here and on other threads on wowace.com. Try Tortoise, RapidSVN, svnX or any other client...

Sorry for breaking party support. Test 2 should rather use UnitIDIter() to loop through the units. Oh, and the first code compares GetNumPartyMembers() (which is 4 in a full party I believe) to the number of units in the roster (aka 5). Yeah, these sanity tests need some work. Go ahead if you have a chance, I'm busy for the next 36 hours.

PS: check 1 mainly triggers when people leave the raid and GetNumRaidMembers() returns a wrong value. Check 2 occurs when joining a rather full raid as the server doesn't seem to be able to make all 40 names available immediately. Iriel noted to check if UNIT_NAME_UPDATE fires in such occurrences, so I'm planning to test that a bit more - but at least the roster problems for raid situations seem to be fixed.
