    I have found it pretty useful, and in descriptions on the release sites, I mention where the info comes from. Its not being hidden. Its just getting a wide distribution to make addons like the above possible.


    Well, I just won't be agreeing with you. It's a waste, and needless. Especially, now. And, Enhanced LFG?? How many people use that? A small percentage of the player base, that's how many, so really, your validations are falling on deaf ears here. It's unnecessary addon bloat. But, if you find it useful, good for you.

    My real point was that I didn't fall for it. And I'm not pleased with it's sudden materialization. I think you're taking advantage of the users. (You're being the developer who had this bright idea.)And people will stop using it...maybe not all of them, but you'll lose people.

    I've been watching this thread for a few days and figured I'd add my 2 cents on this subject.

    1. I detest the Armory.

    2. I detest the changes being made to inspect in patch 2.3.

    Why? Because, IMO, it's no body's business what my spec is exactly and where I put my talents points unless I choose to tell them. I can say I'm a feral and that should suffice, and if it doesn't then I don't need to be instancing with you and vise versa because I don't play this game for you. If you have a problem with trusting what I say then find someone else.

    Blizzard created a nice down hill slope with Armory and they're only fueling the fires for people who are on the verge of /cancel.

    I'll tolerate all these things, though. Because I don't instance with people I don't know anymore, and I block all communications from practically everyone who isn't in my guild or on my friends list. I play this game for me, and now I'll make sure of that.

    All that being said, it probably sounds a bit harsh, but you really have no idea how the first week of Armory was for my Moonkin.....it was hell.

    So, about your RockComm. I noticed the little check box immediately after installing Cartographer after 2.2. Immediately. And I turned it off within seconds. Do I think you guys were trying to pull one over on people who don't pay attention? Maybe. But I wasn't particularly happy about it. Like we don't have enough of this crap as it is. Is it really that hard to tab out and look someone up in that blasted Armory?? Now, I didn't know how it worked, so I figured it broadcasted through whispers with trigger words. Now that I've read this and I know how it works......it's a WASTE. Sorry, but it is. So needless.

    I've used both SpamMeNot and SpamSentry and I prefer SpamSentry. I think I prefer it because I'm biased and I've used it since it first came out. But, nowadays I don't really need it for it's original purpose and I use it for one reason only, to block group invites from people I don't know. Although I have used it to block tells from levels of my choosing, before. If Blizzard gave us a way to block invites from non friends/non guildies, then I'd disable it, but until that time, SpamSentry is my savior.

    I can only hope that my guild doesn't decide to trash can Ventrillo for Blizzard VOIP. If they do, my days of raiding are finished and because voice chat is mandatory. I won't enable until someone invents an addon to block VOIP whispers or Blizzard gets a clue and changes that.


    EDIT: After some digging on the PTR forums, and some testing done by myself, this appears to be a bug, and I can't reproduce it and Hortus says that it's not an intended feature. So, for now, false alarm.

    Head's up for the Spam Sentry devs!!

    Right now on the PTR you are able to VOICE WHISPER someone without the recipient's consent! Not sure what kinds of things you guys are going to be able to do with VOIP and Spam Sentry but, if it's at all possible I'd kill or die for a block to lvl 1 whispers with VOIP.

    Just an FYI.

    I'd post this on the wish list, but I'm a 35 year old stay at home mother who's wiki illiterate.


    Any chance of ever being able to move the party frames individually? Meaning, not as an entire group? Reason I ask is because currently, only Discord provides this feature, AGUF used to, but also does not anymore and I would give donuts and chocolate if it were possible with pitbull.

    put an eePanel behind your unit frames and you won't have the text hanging out in mid-air. You can even set an eePanel to have the target frame (and ToT frame) as parent so they only show up when you have a target.

    Thank you! This is a start, and there are some nice layouts there. Currently, what I'm needing is oUF. There really isn't a way to tweak ABF to do an oUF style because there is no way to reduce the width of the bars themselves, only height. I could move the power and health texts to the sides like oUF but I want them inside the frame not hanging out in mid-air. So I'll check back to see if a wdith function is put in, or if someone manages to do what I couldn't in 12 hours.

    Thank you for that link. I may just be over tired but I'm even more confused now. It sounds like he wants us to make our own layouts, and those are dependent on size and placement of the portraits, and still doesn't do what I want it to.

    I use oUF, no portrait, but I just don't see any way to do this in Pitbull. The answers might be in that thread but I didn't understand a word of it so I'll wait until I'm less tired and less frustrated.

    I used Pitbull for about 2 weeks. Today I went back to AGUF for a specific reason, lack of unit frame layouts. No matter how you tweak ABF, it still looks like ABF. Originally, when I downloaded this mod, I have options for layouts. Not as many as AGUF, but still, some. I no longer have that option and I'm curious as to why that was removed?

    Are there any plans to include pre made layouts again?

    The ct_mailmod bulksend UI is a nightmare. If I implemented a bulksend gui it would be basically bulkmail-lite that does no pt3 categorical sending or other advanced options but would look much the same.



    This is actually the sole reason I do not use this addon. I have to have a bulk mail window as I'm a very visual type of person. I don't trust myself enough to not have it there. I would switch to an Ace mail mod in 2 seconds if it had this feature.

    However, I still agree with level restrictions on who searches. If they KNOW they're looking for a guild, /who guild name would still be an option. I'm talking about /who 70, /who 50. That's what the spammers use. Also, /who hunter, /who druid should be totally based on level. I don't care how many potential guild members I lose this way, when Blizzard pulls their head out of their collective rear end and gets rid of trial accounts(that they don't NEED)there wouldn't be a need for it.
