This is a very well thought out addon. Looks great and easy to configure after a very short learning curve. Thanks!

In addition to the blue text boxes mentioned above, I also get a re-activated threat bar / pet energy & mana bar even after unchecking it after logging in. Checking it then unchecking it again clears it out.

I looked and hopefully didn't just miss the option, but could we have an option to show specific marks on the bar? Like something like [markicon] (number on character/in bank)

It sounds like your problem isn't related to Grid. The code for checking one range is practically identical to the way it was before multiple ranges were added. I'd bet that even if you disabled Grid entirely, you'd still have choppy performance.

Well see, that is the thing... my performance is fine without it running.

My normal addons are something like:

I'd blame the patch but it was happening before 2.4 came out.

Still having performance issues with grid, running 66550.5

Alterac valley performance is poor, but the odd thing is that doing Magtheridon tonight with 25 people resulted in even worse performance than the 40 man BG. This is all just running grid by itself, no other addons. Logging back in and running the mod fubar_performancefu shows grid using 12-18% CPU usage

Turning off range checking (only using the 40 yard one in the first place) helps a little but the game is still very choppy.

Since not many other people seem to be having the issue though, I might just need to reinstall WoW. :/

I'm having the same issues with grid performance. It absolutely tanks in a raid setting. I lose around 10 to 15 frames/sec with grid on in a raid now. AV is a good testing ground for it. I get a freeze up for a split second about every 3 seconds, even before the BG starts. Also, don't even dare try to do a /console reloadui to fix it. It causes a lockup after the loading bar finishes, and makes grid use even more processing time until the BG ends. I lose over 20 frames/sec after trying a /console reloadui.

What I did to make sure it was no other addon, was close out of wow, and zip up both my addons and WTF folder. I then opened up the wowace installer and selected grid. Installed the addon and logged into the game. the only addon available was grid, so I'm sure thats the only one running, not to mention the addons folder is empty minus the grid folder (and the Blizzard_ ones).

WAU shows grid version is +64759.2

I'm running WoW on an AMD 4000+, 2gb memory, nvidia 7800gtx, windows xp home.

the performance drop instantly goes away when you disable grid while in game

I saw earlier in this thread that someone was having this error, the author said they added in a fix but that was back in december, so maybe it snuck back in again.

    When logging in i get:

    Date: 2008-02-14 00:56:58
    ID: 2
    Error occured in: Global
    Count: 1
    Message: ..\AddOns\ArkInventory\ArkInventory.lua line 2701:
attempt to compare nil with number

I believe this was after disabling the offline bag feature.

the ChannelSticky module stopped working with whisper recently,

I noticed that as well. I'm using:

    Prat 2.0 -Ace2- - 2.0 Beta 3 32102

I also noticed the issue mentioned by Ifni, where the chat frame moves around a bit.
