Your SVN URL are wrong and files.wowace.com links do not exist anymore.
Thanks. I've changed the labels to say "archive" - I'm inclined to keep the links themselves, as the point of the site is to try and provide as much information and as many pointers to resources as possible (even out-of-date stuff, as long as it's still accessible).
(Incidentally, I'd actually updated the links to Curse pages for all addons updated within about 30 days (I think it was 30 days) - I've updated all of them now.)
If anyone can think of anywhere else that I could point to, that would be great. (One idea I had today was to automatically do a search on forums.wowace.com for combinations of "<mod> official thread" or similar, and link to that if found? Not sure yet.) I've made myself a todo list here:
Matrix110: thanks! I am historically absolutely useless at the design side of web development (even when I was running my own company, I was only ever allowed to choose the colours for one section of our site! heh): your compliment is much appreciated.
Melkae: the reason this is happening is because the site hasn't seen an update for Baggins yet, and the reason for that is that the Curse information wasn't working for a while (since the Big Changes), and the reason for that is because I stopped playing, forgot about the site, and only started again (and subsequently fixed Curse etc.) a couple of weeks ago. However, you do have a good suggestion, and it's one I'd like to address in the relatively near future. The site didn't have any kind of user registration before, and now that it does and I'm happy with it, I plan to extend the ability for people to be able to contribute information when possible. A couple of other ideas I had were user comments, and the ability for people to link entries in the database (not sure exactly how that's going to work yet, but I want it to be possible for, say, Addon v1.5.3 to be seen as just Addon; to be able to associate renamed entries to their new names; and to be able to assign addons to be marked as either dependent on others, or associated with others). Marking addons as broken is a great idea, thanks - I've added it to the todo list.
To answer your question though, yes, everything is generated automatically at the moment, all from the update feeds provided in various ways by different sites. (Hence my request about the Curse feeds to be more useful.) I used to import SVN logs from svn.wowace.com, they were great for detailed changelogs, but I don't think I'd be able to do that anymore. Plans include importing data from individual addon sources, but I want to figure out a more generic way of parsing SVN logs and RSS feeds than I currently have (there are individual parsers for each resource atm).
Wow! Wall of text crits you, etc. Sorry. :)
Thanks also for the kind comments (especially sylvanaar - promise I'll be back to helping you out (as much as I'm able) soon!) - I'm glad people are finding it useful. Hugs to Seerah as always. (Your husband is a lucky guy!)
and good day to you. I am writing this to let you know about a site I made. It's actually been around for a while, but hasn't changed much from its original (very much lacking) state after I stopped playing WoW nearly a year ago. Now that started playing again, I've finally gotten round to updating the website with some bits that I hope other people might find useful.
It was originally written so I didn't have to check three places whenever I was trying to find an addon, or check for updates.
(Aside: just noticed ui.w are back to wowui.w - wtf? Another name change? Pff.)
It's not finished; there's lots more to do. But, now that there's finally favourites lists, I figured it might actually be useful for other people as well as me. :)
Any and all comments, criticisms, suggestions, and / or other similar communications, thoughts, opinions, and missives related, indirectly connected, or even nothing to do with the site are of course happily encouraged, welcome, desired, positively lusted over, and will find a soft warm home in my brain where they can relax with buttery toast and a nice cold alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage of choice and the fine company amongst peers and friends.
cheers,
- Fin
PS: Just a quick note to the guys at WoWAce / CurseForge / Curse:
Is there any chance you guys could make the RSS feeds a bit more useful, please? The CurseForge RSS feeds don't include version numbers for addons listed, don't list the author names or contact details, and seem to use the general description instead of changelogs. Also, I can't find the RSS feeds on Curse.com at all anymore. :( Are there any?
It's also quite frustrating never to hear anything back from any of the enquiries I've ever sent to Curse or WoWAce - I'm sure you're busy, but... any kind of response would be nice? The tickets I submitted on CurseForge disappeared, questions posted "official" (?) forums on Curse.com have gone unanswered, username requests have disappeared into the ether, questions asked (politely!) on IRC are ignored, emails have gone unanswered. It's just... like, do you even care? I know, I know, of course you do, but, arg, it doesn't seem like that sometimes. Hey ho.
XML is the spawn of Satan, the whore of Babylon, the straw that broke the camel's back, the final countdown, the opiate of the masses, the elephant in the room, the emperor's new clothes, the black sheep, the nightmare on elm street, the silent fart, the premature ejaculation, the wrath of khan, that which knows no name, the ! of ?, the last supper, the rotten core, the eleventh hour, the bottom of the barrel, last place you looked, the bad aftertaste, the annoying drunk, the bastard son, the dark shadow of corruption itself that feeds upon your living soul and infects the dying core of your being while you while you lie asleep at night.
Sadly these are both inaccessible for me (Google Code tells me that my client "does not have permission to get URL /p/jwowupdater/ from this server", and the fambagge.dk URL returns a 404).
Does anyone have any up to date URLs? Also, if the original poster is reading, could you perhaps update your post?
[NB: I have not checked any of the previous posts in this thread. I will do so in a minute; the reason I am posting is because the main sources of information are currently incorrect and it would be useful for them to be updated. (This thread is also the top result in Google when searching for "JWoWUpdater".) I will post anything useful I find.]
Thanks and an ice cream in advance.

Update
OK, well, I guess it looks like JWoWUpdater is no longer being maintained. That's a shame! Still, kudos to the author for providing what looks like a useful tool, for the time he did.
Mentally, all over the place! In real life, uh... working[1], struggling[2], moving[3], settling[4], resting[5], and thinking[6], heh.
I hope you have been well! You also, sylvanaar. I'll shut up now - apologies the offtopickery (toffpickery?).

It's just like FreeRefills**, except I haven't seen any bugs yet, and it's got some extra features that actually don't seem like bloat. :) The one I found most useful is the option to store overflow in the bank - it's like FreeRefills in reverse - something I always wanted but had never articulated to myself so didn't really know I wanted it; the best kind of present.
It's not perfect of course - the interface for adding things to the list is a bit awkward, and there doesn't seem to be any slash commands, which is slightly annoying, but honestly it's one of those things where once it's set up that's it, it just makes your life better from then on.
Thanks for Seerah for recommending I try it again.
cheers,

** for those of you unfamiliar with FreeRefills, it is an addon that will automatically buy or withdraw items for you when you visit a vendor or the bank, as you configure it (eg, you tell it that you want at least 20 Filtered Draenic Water on you all the time, and whenever you go to a vendor that sells them, it will automatically fill up your stack for you).
Fin removed the url on revision r51349, but after Sylvanaar's r51543 update, the url is back, seems Syl forgot to update first before the commit. Fin should have a check first.
In that case I must apologise! It seems that CWDG did not reinsert their insidious advertising after all; if I'd known I wouldn't've been moved to be so rude. I guess it must've been some latent anger I'd bottled up from the original spam. Sorry.
This is not a huge problem, but I thought I'd report it as it's been happening for a while now. On login, I get the following error message in BugSack:
[2008/02/21 18:49:52-4217-x1]: ClosetGnome-1.0.60484\ClosetGnome.lua:833: Invalid inventory slot in GetInventorySlotInfo

Yeah! No fair keeping all the good drugs for yourself. Hey, do you see aliens? Are there aliens there? Are they nice aliens, or scary ones? I want to see aliens, but not scary ones.
OK, I've just noticed that if you minimise the quest tracker, you get the objective progression updates in the chat frame. That'll do me. :)
Well. Since I wrote this (Dec 23rd), I've been wondering why I can't find the option to do this, and why bEQL only shows completed quest objectives on my lock, and not on my priest. I've just figured out that it's not bEQL doing this, it's QuestsFu, which I don't have enabled on my priest (and thought was disabled on my lock). Thanks, noone, for correcting me!
Also, I gave QuestGuru a try, and unfortunately it's a bit limited for me. The biggest problem is the tracker, which has a maximum of 25 like the built-in tracker - why this limit is in place I have no idea, but, it's there, and it's frustrating. Second, it kept putting the message "QuestGuru tracker is already full" (or something to that effect) as a warning up on my screen - I guess because bEQL was tracking more than 25 quests and it was trying to add them, but failing because of its own limit? I don't know; and third the quest log itself was messed up - I think because I'd resized it with bEQL running (using MoveIT), and it didn't like that very much. Some of the options looked very nice, but unfortunately I haven't got the patience to try and get the other problems sorted.
Thought I should say, as this is the FlexBar2 thread: the reason I have so far not used FB2 has basically been because of the lack of easy configurability. That is not meant as a criticism, just an explanation for my personal choice. I'm just, fick, essentially.
However I have looked at all the work cncfanatic has done and been incredibly impressed, and felt that I really should get off my lazy arse and make the effort to set up FB2 properly.
I would love you if you did this. I've been using InfiniBar for about 9 months now, and despite its many faults, I haven't found anything that even comes close to replacing it for me. I play a shaman. My options are (a) 5000 buttons covering my entire screen, (b) casting spells from the spellbook, or (c) action bar paging. Unfortunately my own understanding of the secure action button system is limited at best and I don't really have the time right now to learn.
Thirded! Love piled upon love - sticky but I'm sure you'll - ahahah - love it!
Incidentally, Phanx, have you tried Bartender3 + Modality? The only problem with it is the limited number of buttons; other than that it's amazing. Much better than Infinibar.
