I commend the past, present, and continuing efforts of the Ace dev community. As an ace mod addict and mooching end-user for the past 2 1/2 years, I actually feel proud of the leadership behind wowace for shutting it all down and kicking us, the non-contributing users, to the curb to get our mods from the places we should have been getting them from all along. I'm not being flippant or sarcastic. I'm not just joking or self-depricating. I am serious about my gratitude. It means that they will now be able to better focus on what matters, their community of devs and bt's. Though none of us would care to see mods stop coming, they are actually secondary to the community that brings the developers much satisfaction and kinship. thats what games are about, thats what the mod community is about, enjoying something together, getting good, and doing it well.
I have thoroughly enjoyed playing wow with my close friends, family, and coworkers over the years. The community I belong to and have gained so much from has been made possible because of modders like Kaelten, ckknight, tekkub, rabbit, Ammo, daviesh, greyhoof, zeksie, etc, etc, and so so so many more. Again I commend you, and look forward to the great mods you guys and gals churn out for us bottom-feeders :P. Thanks also to seerah for this post and telling it plainly.
