    @haras2k:

I don't have time to log in and make sure, but I think all you need to do is go into the PlayerNames module and turn off the brackets ([ and ] - I have no idea what they are called in German). Then you can go into ChannelNames and look at your custom channels. It should give you the option to set whatever you would like to display for you channelname, so you can use 5 instead of [5. hellokittyonline].

Here's my opinion of the barebones that should be loaded automatically in a clean install. More might be loaded, but this is what I think the bare minimum should be.

    • ChannelColorMemory
    • ChannelNames
    • ChannelSticky
    • CopyChat
    • Editbox
    • Fading
    • Font
    • Frames
    • PlayerNames
    • Scroll
    • ServerNames
    • TellTarget
    • Timestamps
    • UrlCopy
I'd skip loading experimentals on a clean install if it's a separate module. Give them a warning before they decide to start messing around with stuff. ;)

But you and Laibcoms are right. It makes more sense to put the two-column thing under timestamps if it's dealing with formatting the timestamps. But if it's still experimental, maybe put a warning when mousing over or by the option itself.

(Warning - This post is not fueled with a sufficient amount of caffeine.)

Ya indeed it was, we invalided (that's a real word? O.o) all sessions up until the one you just created to post that post.

You should never be asked to log in to the forums again, unless you log out yourself (or clear cookies)

Or log in on another computer, which still makes you log in again regardless of whether you keep cookies or not. I keep having to log in every time I switch from my laptop to my desktop to my Windows installation...

I am a fan of all-in-one views, but I like trying things anyway, so I gave Luggage a shot. I think it's a nice concept, and the way you have it set up looks great. The hiccup opening my rogue's inventory at the bank was a lot less than it is for most inventory mods, which is a definate plus! (She's such a packrat.)

I noticed that when I open up more than one bag at a time, they overlap. The bag placement block didn't seem to affect this. I'm running at 1280x1024 with .64 UI scale, if that matters. I also noticed that when they grow up, they will grow right off of the screen if you open enough bags.

The option to drag individual bags out of their original spot would be nice.

I also noticed that the bank bar spawns at exactly the same spot as the inventory bar. If one has already dragged the inventory bar elsewhere, no problem. If one has not, one could be a bit confused as to where the bank bar is. Maybe make the initial positioning offset just a bit?

I like the one on the left, if anyone cares. If no one cares...well, that's fine. I still like the one on the left.

I'm revisiting my issue. It's only happening after I log in. The line with FAQ, Member List, etc. is positioned correctly and is the correct size until I log in. Then it becomes smaller and moves down. I changed my font size in FF to 16, which is what it is on the laptop where I haven't changed it at all since install. It has no effect at all. My screen resolution on the machine where this is happening is 1600x1200.

Can't remember what the res on my desktop is, but you are correct. It's fine on my laptop using same version of Firefox, but on 1280x768. Sorry folks.

My text size isn't zoomed, and my default text size is 14 pt. Is that really big enough to do it?

Ok, still the skin thread here, right? *whew* Good.

I noticed an issue with the forums in Firefox 3.0.1, but only in the Linux version. The line that says UserCP, FAQ, Member List, etc., is dropped down below the top funky-colored area and into the beige-colored area. It actually overlays the forum navigation tree. (The part that says WowAce Forums > General > General Chat.) This makes it rather difficult to use either the forum navigation tree OR the UserCP line.

Or just be very random. I wandered to another floor at work to visit with a good friend after I got tired of staring at my own stuff (data mapping) for a bit. She proceeded to tell her client:

'My friend <insert name here> says hi. She's actually my roommate, except we live in different apartments. She's my sister with a different mother too. Oh, she moved here from El Paso...'

I decided that was my cue to leave before the next sentence was 'ok, let me put you on speakerphone and you can talk to her too.'

As far as picking locks in the trade window for rogues, I've been using an old version of EasyUnlock for ages, and it works like a charm.

Dwagons are very nice creatures if you scratch their heads for them properly. ;)

    Nice post, Seerah.
