Adirelle, while you're here, I think that your pet Growl calculation code is broken for less-than-max-level pets. My 25 hunter showed his pet generating ~900 threat with Growl last night, and I was pulling aggro off of it well before that 900 limit was reached.

That said, there's no good way to perfectly implement KTM threat in ThreatLib. To that extent, I've provided ThreatLib:IsUsingForeignThreatSource(partyMember), which you can use to tell if threat is natively coming from ThreatLib or not. In Omen, I flag non-native users with an asterisk to note that their threat may be inaccurate.

Would there be a conflict if I ran both KTM and Omen for a while?

    example sending double threat data?

No, there's no conflict. KTM doesn't know about ThreatLib/Omen, so it ignores it, and ThreatLib ignores any KTM data from other people running ThreatLib.

KTM read support is into ThreatLib and Omen. You'll see people broadcasting KTM data with a * next to their names in Omen. Note that this data may not be considered reliable if there are multiple targets of interest in the fight.

    Hi Leoleal :p

Anyways, I got a question about the backward compatibility of Omen/Threat since I know many of my guildies don't update regularly their mods. If they run let's say today's version, will the value they return to the rest of the raid be wrong in let's say a month (assuming some changes to the threat calculation/values/etc. will be made).

Very likely. Don't recommend the mod to people that don't update often until an official 1.0 release.

Here's my understanding of how Threat-1.0 is working, and keep in mind I don't know much about coding or whatever, so if this is wrong please try and explain it better for me >.>

Threat-1.0 is calculating your own threat (using Parser-3.0 to parse the combat log) and then using AceComm to broadcast your threat and pick up other people's threat. As in, it's the addon doing the conveying.

Then Violation/Omen just display the data Threat-1.0 has collected, from yourself and others. So any KTM compatibility is probably going in Threat-1.0, not Omen. I might be wrong on that though; Antiarc would have to clarify how he plans to have it work.

    This is correct.

Also, today is the first time I've seen this thread.

    :)

Thanks for the reports. The code is under heavy development, and is prone to breaking often, but bug reports will help us fix it that much faster. Just don't expect it to be working right now. ;)

Not sure what caused it, not sure how to reproduce it.

I was able to produce this by reloading my UI while I had party members in combat broadcasting threat data. I suspect it's bogus data coming from older clients, but I'm not positive. It's a high-priority item though.

Most all threat modifications are multiplicative, it turns out. :)

I'll get this in - thank you.

35% on top of all the other multipliers? Do you have a reference I could look at? Not that I doubt it, but I just want to verify mechanics I'm not familiar with :)
