posted a message on SpellBinder - TBC Actionbar-Free Key Binds
I've been using SpellBinder and love the heck out of it.

I wrote a little mod which is now in SVN which applies your Spellbinder-set hotkeys to Bartender3 buttons. Bind a skill with SpellBinder, drop it onto a BT3 button, and the hotkey text automatically gets set.

I tend to prefer to do it this way, since I associate skills with keys, rather than buttons with keys. :)

It's in /files and SVN as Bartender3_AutoBindings, if you're interested. Same concept could be applied to other bar mods easily, but I just hacked it out for BT3 since that's what I use at the moment.

I just committed a tiny little addon called Bartender3_AutoBindings. Basically, it just sets Bartender3 hotkey text for any buttons that hold spells/items/macros you bound with SpellBinder (or any other direct-binding addon).

That way, you can bind, say, Rampage to "R", then whatever slot you put Rampage in (or even multiple slots) will show "R" as their hotkey text.

Bom: Those are all issues related to the fact that your client isn't caching info in your WDB files.

Please ensure that for each locale, the Cache/WDB/(locale) folder exists. This should speed up your load times for the entire game, as well as make Hemlock work properly. ;)

Alternately, lauch the game launcher. I think that will install a fix that creates these directories for you.

For example, I have Cache/WDB/enUS, which is where WoW caches my item info.

    This fails for me:
    /script Minimap:SetMaskTexture("Textures\\MinimapMask")

    This succeeds:
    /script Minimap:SetMaskTexture("Textures/MinimapMask")

both methods worked for me. i'm very slow to change the file string because all of Blizz's own :SetTexture calls use the "\\" method that SMM currently does. that and the fact that it seems to work for me and other people that use this mod without issue.

a question did come to mind tho, are you on a Mac?

I can certainly understand the hesitation. I don't understand why it doesn't work, either.

I'm on Windows XP Pro SP2, nothing particularly weird with it. Other \\ paths work for me, too, which is what is particularly puzzling about it.

No problem! I figured that might be the case.

I look forward to trying this out tonight!

I've committed a drycode fix for ticket #64. I'll get to #121 tonight. Very odd that the table data looks ok, but it's still getting nils in the sort.

This may be outside of the scope of the project, but I'd like to request it anyway!

I'd like to be able to use Talented to publish my spec, and to view others' specs.

For example, I tick a checkbox allowing other Talented users to view my spec. When they inspect me, a "Talents" tab is added to the inspect frame, which, upon clicking, will request my talent spec via an addon message and then populate a talent frame with my spec for them to view, effectively allowing you to view others' talents in realtime.

If not, just say so and I'll write it myself. :D

David: Yes, Hemlock expects you to have the rank 1 poisons trained. It uses these to get the base poison names and textures, primarily. I built it with the assumption that any rogue with the ability to make poisons would have rank 1s trained.

Raphael: Thanks for the report. I'll see what I can do to resolve that - I haven't been able to test it with poison upgrades yet.

    according to this information...
    http://www.wowwiki.com/1.10.0_consolidated_changes_(Iriel)#NEW_Minimap_methods
...Textures\\MinimapMask is the appropriate default mask texture. are you having this problem as well?

    ** edit **
hmm, maybe a capitalization issue. try changeing the lowercase T to an uppercase one.

    This fails for me:
    /script Minimap:SetMaskTexture("Textures\\MinimapMask")

    This succeeds:
    /script Minimap:SetMaskTexture("Textures/MinimapMask")

    Changing the SMM code to:

    mask="Textures/MinimapMask"

    works as well.

Yeah, enUS, standard Live server patch, nothing particularly odd about it.

Only running Ace2, DewdropLib, and smm rev 22390, the default is still square. The border is properly round when I turn it on, but the background/mask is square/empty.

Basically, I think the textures\\MinimapMask file doesn't exist in my client or something. I get the same behavior if I change the mask to any bogus file.

    *shrug*

    Hemlock:
    - Removed a piece of debug code
    - Added an option to allow you to exclude certain items from the button list. For example, to turn off Blinding powder: /hemlock BlindingPowder exclude (or right-click the Blinding Powder icon and select Exclude, or use Deuce Commander)

Please note that the "BlindingPowder" option may change with your locale.
