Did you seriously just ask him to make our heads explode? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't understand his reasoning...
    Sorry XD

I was kinda surprised it wasn't peremptorily changed.
Tbh, I would, but I don't want to get flak for it =p
I'm still learning the ropes as to what's OK to do and what's not, and I'd rather avoid making the wrong choice.

Now perhaps you would like to explain why you created such an immature username and expect people to feel obligated to help you?

The reasoning behind the changes was posted multiple times in the past, and a nice summary of the history of WoWAce and why the change was needed can be found here, courtesy of our friendly neighbourhood Seerah.

This thread will only lead to mudslinging, so I'm closing it.

[Jedi Mind Trick] There are no login issues. Everything is fine now.

    No but seriously.
I really have no idea where these errors come from, so I'm sorry to say I can't help until Kaelten gets back from raiding BlizzCon, he should be able to fill both me and you guys in on what pages cause these messages.

Ya indeed it was, we invalided (that's a real word? O.o) all sessions up until the one you just created to post that post.

You should never be asked to log in to the forums again, unless you log out yourself (or clear cookies)

    OMG BREAKING NEWUS GAIZ :D:D:D:D

I know what's causing the seemingly random logouts.
I'll spare you the vBulletin-technical details, but I have applied a band-aid that will (or should I say; should) result in you not being logged out for 24 hours of inactivity (as in, not browsing the forum for 1 day).

I am working on a more permanent fix, but for now this is good.

Ya I know about the excessive BBCode, but hey. It's a damn WYSIWYG editor on a forum. It's not a $600 tool like DW or Word XD

Hehe naw, I know that fool ;)
He was whining to me on MSN before poasting. In fact, I think he posted this solely because I mentioned how many other things we have to do around here XD

    Quote from Xinhuan
It isn't too bad, apart from the fact that the back button on the browser doesn't remember the contents of the textbox. Would changing the editing mode fix that?
    I honestly don't know, sorry.
But if I'm going to make an (un)educated guess, I'd say yes.

Clarification edit: Your name came up in a link because copying it in Firefox and then pasting it in the text box resulted in it that way.
That would be due to the WYSIWYG editor vBulletin uses for Quick and Advanced Reply by default.
It also enables fancy things like Crtl+B for Bold, etc.

If you don't like this feature and don't want to click the A/A icon above the smilies, you can turn it off by going to
User CP -> Edit Options -> Miscellaneous Options -> Miscellaneous Options
and selecting your preferred default editor interface.

I hope it's not a bad thing that I enabled full WYSIWYG editing for everybody by default?
If you're used to it, it's actually quite handy IMO :)

Ya we know, we just finished banging our heads (though to be fair Kael did nigh all the work here, and here I was thinking he was a nub in PHP :p) at the plugin.

Should be OK now, if you still have problems, please try clearing your cookies and logging back in.
If you still have issues after that, you may post them, but know that you will be causing the death of what little of our sanity we have remaining.
