posted a message on MagicMarker - Raid Icon Marking made simple
I believe I fixed that problem but if it persists in the latest version could you please past / screenshot the error?

Latest version adds raid / party makeup support - i.e it will limit use of CC based on the numbers of each class in the raid.

MagicMarker lets you easily classify and mark mobs simply by moving the mouse over them. This allows incredibly fast marking once of trash groups. Although not necessary for the addon to function, you can configure the priority and crowd control methods you wish to use on a per mob basis. You can also customize the marks to use for tank targets and each crowd control method. This allows for consistent marking of targets to tank and crowd control in raid and party situations

    Features:
    • Mob-level configuration to specify the priority, desired category (i.e Tank or Crowd Control) and an ordered list of crowd control methods.
    • Prioritized raid icon configuration for tank targets and all crowd control methods.
    • Marks targets in priority order simply my mousing over them.
    • Automatically learn about new mobs, marking them for easy configuration at a later point.
    • Ability to unmark and mark targets manually at the press of a button.
    • Ability to ignore mobs you don't want to mark.
    • New: use of CC targets limited by raid/party (if you only have one mage, never assign more than one sheep target).

    Todo and additional information:

To avoid having to update the TODO list in multiple places, I will keep it on the Wiki page. See:

    http://wowace.com/wiki/Magic_Marker

It's an Ace3-based addon available via svn and http://files.wowace.com/MagicMarker/
    Now on WoWInterface: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9110-MagicMarker.html

The WoWInterface download includes FuBar_MagicMarker, MagicMarker and MagicMarker_Data

New desired feature: Ability to lock certain slots. This can be considered an alternative way to handle items that have an undefined / misdefined worth (hyjal ring, darkmoon card etc). It's not necessarily mutually exclusive.

Noticed most of my feedback was already addressed in the original post but I remembered once more thing. IT would be nice to manually be able to add an override/bonus value to an item. For example the exalted hyjal ring which is worth a lot more due to it's proc (it's about 17-20 spelldmg worth I believe).

Also trinket "use" values (although many of these can be automatically determined). The Crusader card which essentially is equivalent to 80 spell dmg would need a value too.

    Awesome addon. Some requirements:

    - Ability to specify minimum gem requirements or, alternatively, ability to parse the metagem requirements and adhere to them. Easiest solution is to be able to add Blue Gems >= 2 for example.

    - When theorycrafting up a dreamset, let us specify the enchants, gems etc and such on the items we don't have to get a correct comparision. This is important especially since enchants can improve the spell hit (this allowing for more haste while still meeting 202 SH).

    - Too much to ask for a gem optimizer (per item and preferably, for a whole set - I know that could be a bit challenging). To make it easier, allow us to limit which gems to use (there's only a few worth using).

    That's all for now. Thanks.

posted a message on NRT (Nihilum Raid Tracker by Rabbit) Questions
I have been evaluating NRT as a replacement for CT_RaidAssist and have a few issues that have cropped up (based on how my guild does DKP). It's a reasonbly long list unfortunatel. I am not sure if, overall, these changes are ones you'd like to do to NRT but I will list them anyhow.

    • We use a bidding DKP system. Once an item is looted I want to enter the value (item note) for this item. This value should be used as a default for future drops. However I want to be able to loot two of the same items for a different value in the same raid. NRT currently doesn't allow this. Changing the note changes it for all the items of that type. An option to use "individual item notes" with a default is required for our use case.
    • Ability to automatically track boss wipes - optional flag to enable this (manually) which would ask to take attendance if more than a certain percentage of the raid is dead on a worldboss fight. As a bonus point it would be nice if you could enable/disable this by boss.
    • Ability to add custom events. Specifically in my guild we track start of raid and end of raid events. It would be most useful to be able to add custom events and then select them from a list to take attendance on them.
    • Bonus but not required: It would be nice if it grouped raid events by "raid". Today we have events => loot dropped. Would be nice to have raid => events => loot. The current UI doesn't allow you to leave past raids in-game since it simply wouldn't scale.
    • Ability to separate waitlisted players and in-raid players for a raid - although this is probably doable simply by looking at the order they appear in the attendance list (i.e <= 25 = in-raid, > 25 = waitlist). We track standby DKP separately.

I got tired of non-raiding members joining the raids so I added invite-by-rank functionality to oRA2. Here's the patch:

Command /rarinvite <Guild Rank> or using the menu.

posted a message on DrDamage - Official Thread
I discovered that DrDamage didn't take into account spell haste from my gear when calculating DPS. I looked at the code and discovered that it was only used it when you manually added additional spell haste. If you didn't manually adjust the values at all, spell haste was ignored. I wrote the following fix (drycoded):

    http://ace.pastey.net/80410

I also realized now that DPSC is useful for hasted spells that go below 1.5s cast time. I.e if I use haste gear + searing pain I won't increase my DPS but I will increase the DPSC.
